  2. how much oil is in the sump, have you made sure the oil is actually returning in the sump or the sump isnt way over full like hypergear said? i was of the opinion that the oil flowing thru the turbo and down that return was not a great amount, so to be flushing out the mouth kind of sounds like theres a blockage... id investigate more before turbo replacement...
  3. 4 1/2inch cannon on a na??? shit.. that must be absolute hell, your problem is the ID size and the type of muffler. I have a fujitsubo muffler with a 2 1/2inch silencer, that muffler must be as quiet as stock and still looks sounds great... if you were in brissy id sell it to you..

  5. what about a vacumn leak? mines had a leak and i think thats what caused it to be jerky on low revs, when your driving and put the clutch in to change gear the revs will fall fast instead of steadily and that contributes to the next gear going in with a clunk also a bit of clutch shudder can cause some symptoms when reversing slowing.

  13. i know very little bout E85 but from what ive read, the mixture under load doesnt require the same enrichment as normal 98fuel, so is it really that critical to have a different map for the varying percentages.. is it not accurate enough to just tune the car slightly rich to compensate for differing concentrations?? my tuner says he can tune the car with safety to account for lower percentages that may occur at different pumps, so is it really that significant that you need ethanol sensors and to even swap computers for this?

  16. can someone tell me who has an external gate, are you running 2 springs inside the wastegate or just the one? just wondering if that helps with the boost control or bringing it on sooner?
  17. hey just interested to know, when using 98 people say that 300kw's is the safe upper limit for a stock RB25DET, does using E85 mean that this upper limit is more? I know that people are getting alot more, like 360kw on stock bottem end, but does that mean over the 300kw with ethanol is safe or just that its happening.. and not necessarily safe. is it to do with the temp/detonation or the stress on the parts? just wondering cause i want to use E85 and not sure how much boost/power is a safe limit, dont need any rebuilds or gambles with the safe limits..
  18. if theres some fittings i can use to adapt it then ill do that, stock pressure is enough for the 1000cc injectors , and yes will get a guage, would rather put the money toward a pump rather than a fancy reg i dont really need.
  19. no adapters for that price, i got there fuel rail, its a chrome one $130 , needs a hole sealed up like ART's rail did. Havnt got a reg yet, thinking about a Sard reg or if i can reuse the factory one that would save some $$$$

  21. assuming you mean Federal RS-R, they have them at option 1 garage, $265 for 265/35 R18, but 36's are like $395 does this mean kuhmo are alot better tyre??? im not advocating Option1 either, id prefer not to go back there myself after my last experience
  22. i ended up going 1000cc Xspurts, have trial fitted them and so far looks like a tight fit but doable and were $100each

  24. Ive been running an apexi avcr, seems to be very much upto the job, alot of adjustability and control..
  25. when i had one of those button clutches, it was not the clutch i was worried about with the shudder, it was the whole gearbox and driveline, diff . Jarr's the crap out of the whole driveline, im sure if i left it in for long enough and slipped it long enough i was looking at a gearbox rebuild, took it to a gearbox shop and they laughed and said, mate thats not a clutch you want for the street!
