KiwiRS4T-The tuner said that he has reached the limits on the 98fuel, he added just one degree more timing and it went from 278 to 285 but he said the knock was climbing too much so for safety he took it back a degree to 278, also said there might be some carbon build up inside because some rb25's can put more timing into them.
Mitcho_7- full boost looks like 4400rpm 18psi, but when its set to 15psi it takes till like 5000rpm to get there,
DaleFZ1- I wouldnt mind rebuilding a strong Rb30 bottem end if it were straight forward swap but reading the rb30/25 looks like it gets expensive very quick.
Scotty- Its external gate, 44mm tial comming off exhaust housing, The tuner set it up, it has one hose going in top and one hose at the bottem, looks like theres heaps of duty to bring it on early, will double check though
The tuner tried all the springs like 5 of them, the low boost setting is .8bar so whatever that spring is .
What would be best/cheapist option for earlier and more aggressive response/power? RB30bottem end? water meth?E85? Housing swap? low mount aftermarket exhaust manifold?
