my brother bought a fanatec turbo s wheel, broken out of the box works randomly if you turn it off and on like 100 times, played it for all of about 5 mins and it was set on 240 degree's, couldn't set it to 900 (using the glitch way so there isn't counter steering aids) so still can't say how the physics are with the wheel he might get it replaced but atm just looking to get his money back

upgrading brakes is just a waste of money on a drift car, you won't have any issues with stock gear and half decent pads get a decent seat, make sure the diff is locked and go drifting, you don't need anything else dont get a gopro if you buy a camera as there shit ..... just lock the diff, drifting without a diff that locks it just a waste of time and it won't teach you anything

LFS physics are mainly screwed by the weird tyre grip but drifting in it is the closest thing to real life there is, steering technique's are 99% the same you use in real life, i learned how to drift playing LFS and use it to practice because of that in GT5 it feels like its not the tyre's turning and pushing the cars, so when drifting the car feels weird, stuff like spinning both rear wheels while turning around a corner and not getting a hint of the car getting sideways i can drift good in GT5 but to do it i need to change my driving style to something that isn't realistic to get around the flaws in the physics unlike LFS where i drive pretty much the same as i do in real life, drifting like that in GT5 wasn't fun so i stopped playing that's not double-clutching, double-clutching is when you clutch in, put it in neutral, clutch out, clutch in, change gear then clutch out

not using a wheel, bet he has all the aids on as well, can't judge how the physics are without a wheel and all the aids off using a wheel? you can't compare the physics between different games without using a wheel GT5 physics are shit and even worse when drifting, got over that stuff real fast because i mainly drift when playing sims iracing and live for speed (LFS for the drifting) are the 2 best sims out there by far and i doubt even Forza will get near them with a wheel, would love to have a wheel for the xbox and see how good the physics in Forza 4 are but don't feel like paying $500 + atm for a fanatec wheel the fanboi's for both GT5 and Forza are the biggest retards minus it sucking that i don't have a wheel for the xbox,drag racing still being stupid even with the new drag slicks because of lack of grip, not being able to change wheel offset, exhaust (on some cars) and the R32 model being fail suck big time i'm liking Forza, drifting is better then Forza 4 and racing is pretty fun, rivals mode is great fun why would you be double-clutching? not to mention you can't even really do it in Forza unless you have the fanatec wheel and H shifter

the build some crazy drag cars here is a pic my brother took at the last drift prac, noticed my number plate light isn't working and in a video he took you can see it turn on and off every time i hit a bump

there are new tyre's for drag racing but no burnouts most people online would just host a race on the tracks with long straights for drags

will be keen when its 1/4 mile, sitting at the end of the track when cars are doing 250kph+ is epic and also ive never done 1/4 mile hope they have some drifting there again but i haven't heard if they have fixed that part of the track or if they ever will

i bought a Contour HD 1080p about 6 months ago for about $350 with a suction mount great camera minus the audio, wind noise really kills it and in my car it has a horrible buzzing noise so i have to turn the mic sensitivity way down, isn't a issue in my brothers car, think it would be the hatch on my 180sx vibrates a lot compared to the rear window on a silvia bunch of video's on my youtube channel, tho it kinda kills the quality http://www.youtube.com/user/equoowe plan on getting another soon so both my brother and me have camera's in our cars, sucks when i have the camera in my car and he does something good behind me also maybe looking at buying another camera for myself to run on the outside of the car but not sure what if i want to buy another Contour

its pretty fun when its wet, limiter in 3rd with only 140kw, no chance at doing the whole corner in the dry with my car tho

i sold my 1st wow account at level 70 right befor the new xpac for $500, few weeks later i bought a AE86 with that money tho if i worked 1/4 of the time i spent playing that account i could have bought a GTR, i was on the top Australia Horde guild so i played it heaps

as long as you don't run low on fuel it shouldn't be a issue, stock sumps are fine to

locked diff, no need to spend $1000+ on a LSD when a shimmed diff will do the same thing a good seat, Velo seats are great and can get them pretty cheap make sure the handbrake works to:P thats all you need to start, anything else is pretty much extra steering rack spacers are win and cost next to nothing there are some basic engine mods that will help a lot (fmic, exhaust and more boost) go watch some in car drifting videos, helps a lot at least knowing what you need to do

wont need to be wet but you'll have to push a lot harder then you would with a turbo, on the track just go foot to the floor the whole thing and it will drift fine, try to stay off the handbrake mid drift because it will slow you down and you wont have the power to keep drifting 4.3 diff would help a lot to

I'm using a Contour HD 1080p, bought it off ebay for $300 + $45 for windshield mount + $15 for a 8gb micro SD card only issue is the sound, have to turn the mic way down or it has a pretty bad buzz, plan on opening it up and putting my own mic in there

one of my videos from the start of the day at drift school, more on my channel and i'll post video's from the practice sessions soon was a great day, had a some car issues but few quick fixes worked, ran max boost for 2 runs lol, got heaps of track time, spent most of the day doing the esses and turn 1-2 because they had the smallest lineup and wanted to get turn 1-2 down a bit better

the cops chased the car for 5 mins then called it off, not sure how long after that it was burnt

was found burnt, some aboriginal used it to try to rob a deli, got into a high speed chase with the police then torched it, not sure how bad it is

my brothers car was stolen around 3:30am from Richmond area, number plate S982AKT, SA rego'ed car its white, no spoiler (has white tape over the holes), blue head lights, black roof spoiler/lip, black 18" AVS model 5's (copies),has a full factory aero kit (just like the little lips), exhaust is pretty loud, muffler is sitting on the rear bar (cannon) also it has silencer in the muffler, blitz front mount but its pretty hard to see, inside of the car has carbon bits to replace most of the plastic stuff, brand new pod filter, boost gauge in the glovebox rear tail lights are same at these http://sphotos.ak.fb...1_5987985_n.jpg (note that is not the car, just to show the tail lights) call Theo on 0411160974, PM or the police if you see it, thanks
