my car is a manual r33. it seems unlikely r34s are louder than r33s given they use the same engine (with a neo shroud). yeah auto trans can make the exhaust a bit more droney

NO 2.25" is too small. Stock exhaust is 2.5". Just make sure you use a decent quality muffler (not straight through) and incorporate a resonator. My 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust NEVER drones

see this thread for some pics of my cold air intake http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...c=99869&hl= basically cut a hole where the intercooler pipe would go (there is an indentation for it) and then run some ducting up to your pod. as for a heat shield, there are already countless threads on this topic, try a search cheers greg
