  3. The Meguiars NXT generation synthetic wax is excellent. Lasts ages (3months) and does hide small scratches.

  10. Have you decided what you are going to do? I'm considering going that extra step with my car over exhaust/intake. I was considering selling and buying a turbo for a while, and I still may. Fuel prices have got me a little worried though. Also the responsiveness of a turbo motor off boost is a concern. Would be hard to find another 'line in as good condition too. And then there is the transfer of all my aftermarket suspensions, selling my car, hassles.. Anyway I would do: - SAFC & dyno tune (~$600) - Lightened flywheel (~$600) Wishlist: - Cams (~$1000) - Carbon fibre driveshaft (~$2000). There was a group buy thread a while ago where you could get some info.
  11. Everyone needs to measure fuel economy consistently for this discussion to be of any use. Next time you fill up, reset your trip meter. Drive. Next time you fill up, note how many litres go into the tank to fill it, and also how many km's are on the trip meter. Then do this calculation: litres / kms * 100 = your fuel economy in litres/100km. Anyway my fuel economy (1995 R33 GTS25 - RB25DE) is as follows: Best ever: 8.04L/100km (highway driving) Average: 9.71L/100km (general around town driving) Worst ever: 13.29L/100km (due to a skidpan day)
  12. Pete, when can I pick my guide up?
  13. oops good point, I meant to post it in the skyline forum, must have mis-clicked. if a mod reads this can they move the thread please?
  14. No and I wasn't implying such. Do I really need to explain myself? Of course I know how easy it is to change gear and handbrake boots. Steering wheels can be swapped too, if one can be bothered. I believe the steering wheel on this car is the original, however. Handbrake/gear boots are a good indicator of actual milage if still original. And if replaced, still a good indicator that the originals were worn. Hence, no, I was not kidding. Anyway, sorry for the off topic post. rb31 - I initially overlooked that this car was in Brisbane, sorry for wasting your time. Very nice clean example of a Series 1.5 R33. Good luck with the sale!
  15. Hi Chris I was referring to the rear skirts (pods) on the exterior - do you know about this? Thanks Greg
  16. As topic states, want to know if rear pods off a 2 door r33 will fit an r33 sedan? Thanks Greg
  17. So how does the car run? Gearbox nice and tight and not notchy? Engine not making any abnormal noises?
  18. would you take a cheaper price with some of the mods removed? got a budget of 13,000
  19. Hey Pete, I rarely go to any sau events, can i just pick it up from your home?
  20. How low is low km? And any other pics of interior? especially handbrake boot and steering wheel to show any wear. thanks
  21. Hey Pete can you please pm me your address and your availability over the next week or so, to organise a time for me to pick my guide up. Thanks, Greg
  22. It could have been running lean before. Dirty AFM = understated airflow = less fuel input relative to actual amount of air = running lean. Clean AFM = airflow stated correctly = more fuel input relative to actual amount of air = using more fuel = worse fuel economy. Maybe?
  23. How old is it?
