    WTB gear knob

There are these amazing people who can't mind their own f**king business, believe it or not you're one of them. Plenty of people have 2nd hand gear knobs for sale (already been offered 3 as above) so clearly wanting to buy a 2nd hand gear knob is not an unreasonable request. Next time don't even bother posting.
  2. lol you're going to confuse the poor newbie! back on subject yes u can get pod whistle/suck and yes u will beat v6 commodores
  3. the real reason is that there is 2 bolts either side. you have to pull some clips out (the clips that hold the trim on the boot lid) to get to them.

  5. funky, i presume that there was insufficient interest for this to go ahead?
  6. I ran a 15.3 with a passenger last night on the g-tech
  7. want a ricer gearknob - post up pics of what u have for sale cheers greg edit: after a silver/aluminium knob but will consider any
  8. as the new springs are presumably harder than stock they will wear your shocks out quicker. My stock measurements centre of wheel to guard were approximately from memory: FRONT 395mm REAR 385mm
  9. To tell if you have an LSD: jack the rear of your car up so both wheels are off the ground. Rotate one wheel by hand. If this moves the other wheel as well than you have an LSD. If not, single spinner. Type-S - what does it really mean? For example I have abs, airbag, (had) hicas, sunroof, lsd, (had) the flap in the exhaust, red GT badge, and a series II motor. But i didnt have sideskirts, rear pods and just had the standard (non type m) front bar. is mine a type s? Back on topic I believe brakes are the same accross all GTS25s
  10. yes the non oiled ones are the way to go... you can clean them with an air compressor easily as well. i clean mine every 5000km and can notice the difference each time - i do drive in dusty conditions though. on hot days the pod definitely does not help the car in terms of performance in fact i would say it hinders it. but in the colder weather it's awesome - the sucking noise is sweet and it does give it a bit of extra go in the top end. (sorry for all the posts)
  11. I have the apexi n1 power intake. it sucks quite loudly but its never annoying. I took my pod off completely so the AFM was sucking air directly (just for a test) and the induction noise was the same as with the pod on - to give you an idea.
  12. 11.5k cash this weekend
  13. what do people think of an SR20 in a R33? megalla did it in his r32, and I think it makes sense. less weight, better handling. and unique. i can see myself doing that one day just for the fun of it
  14. good luck with the conversion mate, are you planning on doing the work yourself? i like the idea of bolting a turbo up to the RB25DE and running low boost. will still have good power off boost and be cheaper in the first place. only issue would be tuning ie what computer to use. I doubt the stock GTST ecu would work?
  15. man why so cheap! good luck with the sale
  16. I was just repeating what I was told when I took my car in for a wheel alignment to Widetread Tyres in Lilydale. What you said makes sense
  17. Rear wheel alignment - excessive toe will cause the symptoms your describe. Set it neutral. If you still have hicas, which i will assume you do, you need to ensure the rack is centered before it is aligned. I don't have hicas anymore because its crap, but I was told some Pedders shops have the tools or whatever to center it.
  18. Specifics on stereo gear? I'm after 6x9s and amp
  19. where in melb are you located? interested in both
  20. Just because a business is for sale it does not mean they will not continue trading up until the date of the sale - in fact they are more likely to offer a better deal as they will want to make as much money as they can before they get out, ie by selling stock. And assuming your worst fears (unfounded) are realised and the business is sold, why wouldn't the order go ahead? The new owners are hardly going to turn down a sale which is already organised and requires no extra work on their part. I don't see how this is a problem in the slightest. I've deal with PartsCo on more than once occasion and were always upfront and helpful. If I didn't already have extractors I'd be down for this - good luck Gatty
  21. tried to call you yesterday but only got voicemail....what time should i call you today?
  22. Apexi springs are awesome. I have bilstein shocks with Apexi springs, which would be similar to your setup. The ride is comfortable, in fact more comfortable than stock springs with bilstein shocks, as the Apexi springs are a progressive rate. The car handles very well the springs give you much more control, reduced body roll. They are probably the best upgrade suspension wise I have done so far.
  23. how many kms had the engine done? interested in the whole thing (less the bits that you want)
