you mustn't have had standard springs, so they weren't under compression. if you have standard springs you will need spring compressors, or risk serious injury when the nut shoots off under the force of the spring.

seriously - clean your air filter. I was ready to replace my whole exhaust system, but after cleaning the air filter it was fixed. Don't spend money replacing the cat if its ok!!

i run an apexi pod, but if you just want a replacement panel filter then a few people on here run k&n so try them

Nice work if you could actually clean your air filter with a toothbrush (ie it made a difference) then I'd say it's definitely time to replace it. I use an air compressor to clean mine. cheers

my power loss felt similar to what you describe. took off cat and it was in perfect condition (make sure you take it for a fang to hear the exhaust coming straight off the manifold). then i cleaned the pod filter and had 90% of my power back. try that.

no those are cost prices only. Labour was $480 total, but I had some problems investigated in addition to complete 100,000km service. all i did was oil and plugs.

i just got 100,000 km service done (due by time). changed timing belt, water pump, thermostat. water pump - $150. timing belt - $85. thermostat - $22. I got it done at nissan ftg - they were good.

mightn't be much use to you guys, but i was lacking power and the following helped a LOT: change engine oil and filter clean air filter cheers

Have you got any photos of the Hella LED the fabricator spoke about?? ps i know that you source complete flat bootlids (eg east bear make one) - maybe we could do a group buy on them?? because aren't they about $600 each? which is only double what we're paying for this spoiler, plus you get the weight saving, and can sell your old boot.
