  2. thanks for the info adam! the exhausts I'm looking at are the NA versions, here is their diameter in inches FYI: A'PEXi: 60mm = 2.362198" HKS: 65mm = 2.559047"
  3. i won't get that popping sound because i'm NA, right?
  4. Ok this is the deal: I can save around $200 by getting the N1, but it comes with 60mm piping as opposed to the 65mm piping of the super drager (remember I'm NA). Also I'm not sure if I'll be happy with the look and sound of the N1. I have heard good things about the sound of the HKS.
  5. I can get these translated if you want - my sister is fluent in Japanese
  6. Hmm well this thread died in a hurry:( SDU NA Thread (great info) http://forums.skylinesdownunder.co.nz/show...=&threadid=9280 Can anyone confirm the correct offset for a r33 gts25? Will the offset be the same as the gts25t, but in 4 stud?

  9. OK i've been doing some research and it looks like there are basically two types of shifters: - Short Shifters (aka solid, direct) - Quick Shifters What's the difference? From the pics I can see of the two, the short shifters just shorten the stick, while the quick shift kits come with a shortened stick and also a whole lot of other nuts, washers and brackets etc (i'm not very good at technical stuff:D). If any would care to explain I'd appreciate it. Thanks! Summary so far: C's is the way to go
  10. Does anyone know about the quality of Nismo short (solid) shifters? I am also looking at ones made by Mines and C's. Has anyone had experience with these?
  11. http://www.nissansilvia.co.nz/tech/5stud/5stud.htm Found this while looking for info on a 5 stud conversion for my 'line, hope it helps. Cheers, Greg
  12. Is it possible to convert my 4 stud wheel pattern to the more conventional 5 stud type? How would this be done and how much would it cost? I was thinking this should be possible by swapping brakes with a GTR or GTS-t?? Your help is appreciated! Regards Greg
  13. I am probably going to order the A'pexi N1 exahust (60mm piping) from perfectrun.com.au in the next week or so. Does anyone have this fitted to their car? If so, what do you think of it? Excessively noisy or droney? Also, has anyone ordered stuff from www.perfectrun.com.au before? THANKS! Greg
  14. Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with http://www.perfectrun.com.au ??? Where does everyone buy their performance parts from online?
  15. I'm definitely interested in multiple throttle bodies provided I can get them cheap! Roughly what are they going for($)? What's this about an airbox? What exactly are the benefits? Do they noticeably or measurably add to performance? Are they legal in VIC? http://www.wheelweights.net/ has some good info regarding wheel weights, both factory and aftermarket rims. Has anyone actually fitted lightweight, forged rims (ie TE37's or something)?? If so is there a noticable increase in performance? I have put off getting rims for a while now because I'm unsure if it's worth the extra cash to get forged lightweight ones? Thanks guys, Greg
  16. I have no idea how you tell if its Type-S or not, I was just going by the information at: http://imports.motortraders.net.au/imports...yline&period=79 Basically Type-S has an LSD plus a few other goodies that adds an extra 10kg compared to the GTS25. I hope this helps, Greg
  17. Let's make this the ultimate resource for naturally aspirated information. Discuss NA specific stuff such as exhaust....and generally how best to make more power. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ First topic: NO2 It's hard to get decent power gains from the RB25DE without spending big bucks. As much as it makes me sound like "rice", I figure NO2 is probaby to cheapest way to cut my quarter mile time. I'm thinking of running a 50-70hp shot. Has anyone else looked into or done this? Thanks guys! Greg
  18. How about a naturally aspirated forum? I also got this idea from supraforums.com Having separate forums for R34, R33, R32 would suck because they pretty much all use the same donk anyway (except R32 [ie RB20]). I suppose suspension(slightly), body parts etc are different though. Just my thoughts. Greg
