  1. Bit dark right now. I will post a pic tomorrow.
  2. Hi guys, I JUST got this seat from MX5 Mania for $600 installed onto my NA MX5 not even a week ago now (it's all black). After a few days in it I realised it's a bit big for me. I am 5ft6 and VERY skinny. This seat is considered pretty small but after sitting in a friend's Recaro SPG I've realised that is the seat for me or a Bride Zeta 3. All over $1200 unfortunately but I want one! I spent and additional $208 on some genuine Sparco kidney cushions which velcro on to the seat as well as (get this!) a Sparco pneumatic lumbar support which also velcros on and has a pump so you can adjust the lumbar support! All of this makes it a lot more comfy for me but it's still not perfect like the Recaro is. So I am considering selling this seat and extra goodies. I am in Sydney, Maroubra eastern suburbs. There's not a mark on the seat and extras as they are AS NEW. Asking $500 for the lot (seat, kidney cushions and lumbar support)!!!!!!!!! My massive loss is your massive gain. 3. One sec... might have sold it! Waiting for confirmation I will call you if the sale falls through.
  4. Yes I have a brand new Nardi Leather "Prestige Line" Gear Knob for sale. I bought it from HJC (the only official Nardi Importer in Australia) and have the receipt to prove it. It's a universal kit (3 allen key type screws to fit to any shifter shaft) and comes with all you need to get it in your car (allen key, screws and instructions). Tried it on for a day and found it not quite right for the MX-5. I want $80 my loss is your gain. I will send it out at your expense or pick-up from Maroubra (Eastern Suburbs). PM or email: justinATaustralianinfront.com.au
  5. Hi guys, I just got a new Nardi steering wheel and so my MOMO steering wheel (which came with my MX5 Clubman) is for sale. - It's practically new (only 55,000kms on the clock of the car) in fantastic condition, no marks at all. - What you see in the pics is what you get (leather wheel cover with horn + bolts). - 360mm - $200 ono. I will not ship this item, prefer local (Sydney) buyer for pick-up. I am in Maroubra Beach (Eastern Suburbs). Pics: PM or email: justinATaustralianinfront.com.au
  6. Are these definitely sold? I have perfect PERFECT R32 GT-R interior and I'll add $1k on top for your Recaro interior. Damn! I am kicking myself here.
  7. Aussie cars have a lot of power and impressive power numbers but take them to a track and they fail to shine in comparisson to an EVO 8, STi or R32 GT-R. That massive Aussie car challenge they had in MOTOR Magazine recently was a let down. All the cars featured did very average times around Eastern Creek (I have done faster than all of the cars featured in my fairly stock R32 GT-R - all stock except suspension and rubber and I am a track newbie to boot). That said, I think that the powerful aussie cars are not made for track work. I think these cars are more for eating up the highway in great comfort. They're for executives, rich older guys. But in all honesty I love where it's going. I think the new Fords look so mean and I'd love to see a 2 door. The Monaro is also a mean looking car now, fantastic but in the end of the day they're just not for me.
  8. Haha yeah my sister was AOK about me taking her car out on the track, she wanted to come actually but didn't make it on the day and far out that liyyle laugh I do... wasn't the only one on the day that's for sure... since it was just us on the track (only about 10 of us in our group) and we all knew each other it was a lot more fun... like playing GT4! The car is dead stock, no turbo, 1.8 and very soft and tall springs but because it's so light and has such awesome turn-in it wasn't so mich of a problem although hav ing said that... if it had coilovers and semis it would be a very very fast car around Wakefield. I only managed 1.20 in the little MR2. Can't wait to get the GT-R out there when it's done. I'm sure the in car camera video will be a lot more exciting! ^_^
  9. Hi guys, couldn't wait to get out on the track again. GT-R is in the workshop getting an engine rebuild so I took my sisters little MR2 Spyder out for a spin at Wakefield. I just bought a video camera and manfrotto suction mount (find them in a Ted's pro camera shop for under $200) worked a treat! I've compressed it to keep it small (only 6mb). Hope you like it! http://temp.australianinfront.com.au/jdmst...g/wakefield.mov PS: A lot of fun. I only brake 3 times in one lap (turn 2, hairpin + last corner) and the rest is throttle control. It's very different to driving a GT-R that's for sure, more on the limit, more desperate, much harder to overtake but a lot of fun catching faster cars in the corners. Wouldn't trade my GT-R for it though but still... I was impressed with it... all stock too (sussy and tyres were stock).
  10. Yes! Right next to Randwick, or the top of Oxford Street.
  11. Hey peeps. All JDM car lovers are welcome to the 6th JDMST offline meet. It's going to be at Centennial Park this time as it's a Sunday (we meet on the last day of every single month). A great way to meet like minded people who are into Jap cars so please come along. More details here: http://www.jdmstyletuning.com/index.html
  12. I am looking at these, so cheap so I'd be happy even if they lasted only a year! But will they be an easy fit? That's what I am trying to figure out.
  13. So Lucien, if I ran out and bought myself one of the many HID kits around, in H1, it's not a simple "bolt on" job that my mechanic can do?
  14. Anyone done HID yet?
  15. Chaser is hot Shane, but the R34 with the Eastbear GT-R front/kit will look damn insane and I think, in the same colour as the chaser, will turn a shitload more heads... if that's what you want! Who can not gawk at an R34 GT-R when you see one on the streets? They have so much street presence that's for sure.
  16. I tried to search for HID, no results. I've been living with my R32 GT-R for a few years now. The headlights on the car are so weak at night, it's very dangerous. I tried some better bulbs, no good. I'm thinking about HID now. I have the projector style headlights. Has anyone done this at all? I'm a little worried about the heat in the engine bay melting the ballasts/wires as I have had one of my front headlights stop working due to the heat melting wires in there!!! Insane but true. I'm sure a vented bonnet would help that situation. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated on HID's. Thatks guys.
  17. I am keen on the dash, very very very keen.
  18. I have some. In Sydney, PM me your offer.
  19. Peter from Bodyform in Sydney has got one piece Nismo skirts. They are copies he has designed and made and they are truly awesome and cleaner than the Nismo's could ever be. I have them on my car. PERFECT. I have lost his number though as he has moved shop!!!
  20. Still available guys. Going a bit blurry but still working. $100!
  21. I got some, missing some clips though... PM if keen.
  22. A massive congratu-****ing-lations to Zi and Yonas for hitting a 12.88 TWICE at WSID tonight. Naturally Aspirated, no turbos, no nos, street tyres, truly ****ing amazing. Check out the pictures here http://jdmstyletuning.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=344 WHOOT!
