  1. I'll take it if you will accept $900. I am in Sydney, can pick-up, ca$h of-course.
  2. OH OK! LOL. OK then on another note, some of you guys might know, why do race cars in Japan (and all over the world) with RB26 engines leave their spark plug covers off? I have heard that the temps in there can cause the spark plugs to stuff up? So taking it off is a good thing?
  3. Guys I knew it would sell quick at this price LOL! One guy has come over to see it, he's going to find out if it fits his R32 GTST, if it does it's sold to him if not I will call the few of you who have left me phone numbers. Cheers.
  4. Duncan can you please tell me exactly what kind of system you are running on your GT-R's? I don't care about costs. My mission is to build a car I can race for more than 5 hot laps!!! Bonnet with vents, will that help? Cutting out holes in the front bumper? Or am I really just looking in the wrong places here? DUNCAN HELP!!! If you can go for an hour I need to know how you do it!!!
  5. I've tried to read all of the last 6 pages but I still couldn't find where it says how much shipping to Sydney will cost? Please pm me the complete full price I have to pay for a blue long strap harness and I will deposit thecash STRAIGHT AWAY. Cheers guys.
  6. OK guys my mechanic ran a great test on my oil cooler 2 days ago using an heat temperature gauge we let the car cool then measured the temps for oil cooler pipes going into the cooler core and out of the cooler core. Then we started up the car and you could literally, with the temp gauge, see hot engine oil going into the cooler and cooler oil going out of the cooler. He never had any hesitation about the cooler as he has been in the car with me for 5 hot laps (at that time he was the one who told me to head back into pits as he was watching my oil temps) and he installed it and he thinks 5 hot laps of Eatern Creek on a hot day is about right for my GT-R. So I have just ordered a bigger cooler in hope it will bring temps down but my mechanic thinks I am wasting my cash as it won;t make that much difference... ie: my mission to stay out for 10 hardcore hot laps is not achievable by simply installing a bigger cooler.

  18. Richard, I may get it. It's $2k! But worth it if I can stay out on track for longer. SK: You are such an awesome help on these forums. I have printed out your post and will take it to my mechanic tomorrow morning (I am already booked in). I just bought some defi guages for the inside of my car so I will be getting accurate readings now ($850 for the damn guages!!! DAMN!!!) so before I buy this ARC oil cooler I will try to relocate my one and see if that does any difference then report back to these forums after my next track day either motoconcepts at the end of this month or the 8th December where I am booked in for a Burrows day.

  21. What about this ARC oil cooler?
  22. Off topic but I need the help from you guys in this thread who track your Skylines. I am getting 130 oil temps every time I go out on track, 5 hot laps and I am forced to come into pitt. Is this normal? Yes I have an HKS oil cooler. The thread I have started is here, thanks in advance for any help you can loan me! http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...d=1#post1082593
  23. I don't ever remember checking oil temps before installing it unfortunately!!! Massive shame!!! How can I check if it's working or not guys?
  24. I intend to keep the stock R32 GT-R intercooler. I will look into getting a bigger radiator. I am currently only pushing out 179kw at all 4 wheels. I have new turb os going on soon (HKS2530's) but this oil temp problem seems to be a "normal" one as my mechanic has told me that all GT-R's on track are like this?! So, how can I check to see if my oil cooler is working? I know that as soon as I do a warm down lap I can literally watch the oil temp guage drop down quickly, does this mean the oil cooler is working? I will get a better more accurate guage for starters as many of you on these forums seem to think the stock R32 GT-R guages aren't as accurate as they could be. I just thought I'd post here as it's the motorsport section and surely a lot of you take your GT-R's out on track and would have similar oil temps? Thanks for the help so far.
  25. OK so a bigger radiator will help? I didn't know this at all. I will most definitely get a new radiator if that's the case. I am running 0.9bar on stock turbos with dump pipes and front pipes that's about it. Not sure about the size of the cooler but it's quite large (well, not tiny) and sits near the radiator.
