FS: NISMO Sticker Decal sets!!!
justinfox replied to justinfox's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
I will not separate the Nismo side stripes from the bonnet stripes. It's a whole kit. I spent $360 on these decals all up. I have receipts to prove it from Japan and the USA. So to all the people who have PM'd me with interest. Thanks for your offers but as you can see I am already losing a lot of money on these. I will only negotiate a bit if you buy the lot off me to save me time and postage costs. In any case it looks like I may already have a buyer for the lot. I'll be sure to return pm's to all who have responded if the sale falls through. -

Project: R32 GTR Daily Driver with Guts! Mods?
justinfox replied to danstar's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Sometimes you just have to try something out yourself rather than taking advice from these forums. I got a custom pod/cold air intake put into my last car (An Alfa 147) and the car no longer hesitated off the lights and it made an amazing sound at higher revs. I have heaps of GT-R magazines and all of them feature, from front to back cover, GT-R's with pod filters. All these guys can't be wrong. They just can't be. So, what did I do today? I installed an APEXI induction kit to my R32 GT-R and all I have to say is WOW!!! The sound is amazing. You can hear a loud sucking noise and you can also hear the stock BOVS too. Car is definitely pulling harder/faster. So, sure, the stock box is fine. Stock wheels and suspension are probably "fine" too right? But many run out to modify these as there are "better" aftermarket parts. PS: re- suspension. I always do this first and just installed a complete Whiteline WORKS package. All the swaybars etc etc and I did this because of people on here telling me it's a great kit. I have to say that the car is no longer streetable. It's such a hard ride I bounce off everything and I cscrape the shit out of the rfont bar all the time now on crappy joins between roads. Damn it's a hard ride, there goes all comfort whatsoever. -
which would you rather have?

Hi all, have an R32 GT-R bootlip spoiler + 3/4 side skirts for sale. The bootlip is a fibreglass copy made by Japanese Motorsport. It's designed to fit under the GT-R spoiler. Looks tough and mean. Costs $195 on their site. I have never fitted it (I dry fitted it, looks great). Have decided not to fit it as my paint isn't 100% and I'd need to fix it before adding sexy bits. Here's an overhead picture: Here's a side on picture: Here's one from underneath: I also have some 3/4 side skirt extensions, they also will make your car look super damn fat but there's a catch. One is quite damaged. It's damaged at the rear part of it, so you would not even see the damage as you wheel will hide it. But it can be fixed if you go to a bodyshop which can repair fibreglass (I have already found a local shop close to me who has a fibreglass expert and he says no problems at all). The other side is in great condition with a little gash and a small crack, easy fixed. Painting these should only cost you $30-80. Fixing the side skirts may cost a little more. Best to show pics and get a quote perhaps. 3/4 mud flap/sideskirt extensions: I am after a quick and easy sale as they have just been sitting around in my already tight garage space. $150 for the bootlip spoiler $80 for the pair of 3/4 skirt extensions I am in Eastern Suburbs Sydney and will ship interstate if I have to. email me at justinATaustralianinfront.com.au Mobile: 0415 500 368 SOLD!!!!!!!!!

Good points made above. I've owned mine only for a couple of months now and have been using it as my daily driver but this week I am buying myself a shitbox as a daily driver. Something I can leave anywhere and not worry about anyone damaging it etc etc. Something that I can do a full load in... just chuck crap in the back.. a hatch or wagon most likely. Something I care nothing for in other words. Last night I drove up the street to get some Chinese take out. One of my flatmates must have got some chinese food on her outfit as I found stains on my rear seats. This GT-R was made in 1993 and the 2 people before me have never ever used the back seat... it's in perfect condition and now there's stains on the seats. That hurts! I drove from where I live (Eastern Suburbs) to Palm Beach and back the other day and used almost 1/2 a tank of fuel and I was off boost! OUCH! And not to mention I had a lot of guys in little ricey cars darting in and out of traffic around me, getting in front of me just to slow me down etc. I never had anyone give me so much attention in my past 2 rides. I'm getting my suspension installed this week, then it will be even more uncomfortable to drive as a daily and so will serve as what I always intended it to be.. a track day car. Can't wait to get it out on track in March!!!

Spring Rates for R32 GT-R (?)
justinfox replied to VSPEC32's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Awesome! Looks like I am going to stuff my HICAS too! -
I have just bought the whiteline WORKS package for my R32 GT-R. I have all the boxes ready for install but I have no idea at this stage WHERE to get it all installed. Pedders xcan install it for me. They're a nice bunch of guys at the Alexandria branch. But does anyone else on here have any suggestions of where I can get them installed close to where I live (Eastern Suburbs) ? Thanks in advance.

I have been quoted, by numerous body panel shops around Sydney. Between $800-$950 for respraying one side of the car (metallic gunmetal grey). This includes front panel, door + 3/4 panel. I have a few little imperfections on the car and I'm considering getting the whole car re-sprayed now!!! Looking for someone in Sydney. I have heard of Madhatter. He's quite far away from me though (Eastern Suburbs).

Please ignore. Found one!

justinfox replied to justinfox's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
The BOVS are the same for all cars. You might just need an adaptor ($40). $250 is way too low in any case. I am firm on the price. -

justinfox replied to justinfox's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
OK since there are no GT-R owners out there who are interested. I will separate the 2 BOVS. So $400 each. Any takers? Remember they are brand new and have never been used. -
Curious as I am looking for a daily driver (my GT-R is just too good/much for a daily driver in my opinion). I am in Sydney and have $10k to play with but just need to know about your blow off valve and ram air filter. Aren't these illegal in Sydney? Or does your engineers cert cover these if I was to be pulled over by a copper?

C'mon GT-R owners. Someone surely wants these BOVS.
