(I promise car was filthy in every one of these shots except the one on the driveway where you can see it has been washed). REMEMBER!!!!!! Car was 2 years old in these pics, never ever detailed ever and full of scratches, dings and swirl marks. No photoshopping and tell me doesn't she look clean? SEE! SEE?! I do not lie. Na na na na nah!

Those photos prove absolutely nothing at all. I had a black car and it was dirty all the time. Even after a wash... as soon as I woke up in the morning there would be dust all over it from the garage air and even when it was dirty... I would take photos of it and it would look damn clean in the photos but see it in real life and you got to see the dirt, swirls and everyfcukingthing else!!!

This is (after a little thought) the best thread I have ever read on these forums. I hope that after reading all of this, that everyone can decide for themselves what's right and wrong and gain some insight/opinions that will be used in positive ways. I've only owned my GT-R for a few weeks now. It's nothing like the Alfa which I really could throw through corners. I have taken friends on board who have urged me to floor the thing and sure I have done so a few times in a straight line and only when it was clear of traffic or pedestrians, even parked cars and I've also had guys in WRX's as well as Holdens and Fords give me a look, or a few revs at the lights in an attempt to get me to race them and I am proud to say that I've ignored every single one of them to date. GEEZ! I'm really growing up! I almost can't believe it. I was more of a hoon in the Alfa than this GT-R and it's only becuase I know that this GT-R is a lot faster than the Alfa and I have no experience with it's limits. I am booked into a track day on March the 3rd at Eastern Creek with driving instructors as well as skid pan. Can't wait for it! Then I will know what the car feels like on the limit and out of control. Should be a fun day! In the meantime. All the best to all of you inexperienced GT-R drivers and pedestrians at bus shelters!

Great 1st car. You have great vision out of the cabin on one of those. And these little Honda's are easy to drive, fun and very predictable. All the best!

Power limits for P platers is the best step just like motorcycles for sure. I think all P platers should only be allowed to drive low powered vehicles.

Smashing into a bus station and posting up pics of your damaged car? Geez you're almost proud of this accident aren't you?! - TOTALLED a car before and didn't learn from that so had to do it again? - 20 years old - SPEEDING over the limit in a SKYLINE I don't feel sorry for you matey. You're not hurt? Damn?! Maybe that's why you feel like you can just buy another car and go on giving it some in corners. Sure you could have killed yourself but if it was your fault then that's ok by me but even worse you could hae killed someone else. I now begin to understand why I get so many frowns from people on the street for driving a Skyline. I feel sick in the stomach now.

Well AOK matey. I am negotiable, name your price. Perhaps you just want the wheels and not the tyres? At worse I will keep them for track day wheels/tyres and go and fork it all out for my new Nismo wheels.

Hey forgot to mention: It's VERY EASY to get around Japan by train! It's SUPER intuitive! I get freaked out catching trains in Sydney (imagine what it would be like for a Japanese tourist in Sydney without a tour guide) but in Japan I just found it so damn easy to get around by train. Same with Paris actually but that's another story! It's also easy to eat in Japan! A lot of places have the food displayed out front... with life like (well sort of) looking plastic food models (hey Hobbyco should get into these!) and so at worse you could drag the waitress outside and point at what you would like! LOL! And if you don't like Japanese food (man it's so good) you'll find that a lot of the little restaurants you find on the street share the same dish..... spaghetti bolognaise!

So if a cop pulls any of you over, and pops your bonnet, and sees a pod/s they will defect you right? I had a large K&N pod on my old car (Alfa Romeo) but it was on the end of a pipe which I had custom made to sit down very low away from the engine and close (but not too close so that it sucked up water from puddles in the rain) to the road. And the cops would never have found it because you couldn't see it but damn could you hear it!!!!!! I want to install duel pods in my RB26 but I don't want to get defected!

I've been to Japan 3 times and have never seen any of these gangs. Nor have I ever felt threatened in any way at all. In fact I felt as if it was the safest country in the world. I actually feel much more "threatened" in Sydney than most countries/cities I have been to. Japan rocks out. I plan to visit again some time soon. If not this year... next. I can't wait to fill up my luggage with great Japanese toys!

I am just about to get mine done at Solace. But will pay up to get this done if he comes out to me (mobile service) at the Eastern Suburbs. But I was booked in to have it done at Solace next week so for me this has got to happen soon.

So Adz.. how did you get your rims exactly? Through which people? Through what site? Here's the 1st car I posted... the atest pic of it online. He has dumped his Nismo wheels for bigger wheels. I have seen them before, multispoke bronze.. volk I think? That sounds like a damn hard thing to find! Looks like I will take it to a smash repair place and see if they can fix it before I begin my hunt. It's the little things ain't it?! Especially when you are in search for perfection!
