  1. Hi all. I did a lot of fiddling around with the boot today and here's what I have found: If I open the boot and push the lock boot mechanism up (ie: not locked) and then close the boot very very gently. Then pull the lever inside the car gently the boot opens!!! If I slam the boot shut I cannot open the boot from inside the car as the mechanism which locks the boot up permanently has moved to the lock position. Alternatively if I pull the lever all the way up this also pushes the boot lock mechanism to the lock position! Now how strange is that huh?!
  2. PS: Ben, can you email me a pic of your car with the gold wheels for my records? justinATaustralianinfront.com.au Would be much appreciated!
  3. Ben let's just do a group order of these Nismo wheels. They look absolutely amazing on that R32 and suits gunmetal so much (when you win the Nismo S-Tune R32 in Gran Turismo on playstation it has these bronze Nismo wheels on it!). Wheels are $3800 delivered to Aus direct from Japan.. a little pricey though huh?! Painting wheels: Ask your local Bob Jane T-Mart. They can organise it for you. I don;t remember how much it was going to cost but I remember it wasn't too much at all. Something like $150/wheel.

  6. Hey mate that's the OLD one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I though I was bidding for the new one!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Hey Merli. I will come out cruising for sure. Looking forward to it actually. I only just got my plates. They're nice ones too! Check it:

  9. Driver: Correct. There's absolutely no tension when I pull the lever from inside of the car.
  10. Cheers J. I found that little latch and it's still a no go.
  11. Hi all, Just a small thing. But the boot latch next to the drivers seat on my 93 R32 GT-R is designed to open the fuel cap as well as the boot lid. Fuel cap pops not a problem but the boot doesn't open. I just thought I'd ask around here if anyone has had a similar problem (stretched cable I assume) before giving it a go myself.
  12. Fhrx: Well I wanted somthing cheap. And actually. most of the decks were silver and super fancy!!! I just wanted something BLACK and simple so I went for a Sanyo deck. It was on sale and I got it for $399 including fitting.
  13. Hi all, I just realised that the standard deck in my R32 GT-R can't even get radio (only goes up to 90fm!!!). So I have just put down a $50 deposit at Strathfield Car Radios for a very simple, black detachable face CD player/head unit. On the dash of my R32 GT-R there are 2 little buttons on the left side which control the stock stereo. One tunes it one switches AM/FM I think. Is there any way I can hook these buttons up to the stereo I am fitting this weekend? Thanks in advance for any help.
  14. I have a set of BBS LM (Le Mans, do a search in google images for BBS LM) for sale. They are 17inch x 9inch wide Light weight 2 piece rims with deep dish Great condition (see pics) Yokahama DNA Grand Prix tyres with 80% tread 235/45/ZR17 Don't ask me about off-sets as I do not know. I currently have them on an R32 GT-R and they're perfect for this car. Asking: $2000 with tyres. Would consider swapping for Jap style rims so long as front and back rims are the same width (9inches wide). Prefer Buddy Club/Volk/Nismo... you get the dorifto. I'm in Sydney. Eastern Suburbs.
  15. usuckpoo: fair call. But the surface of the pedal does make a difference in feel. Steel/aluminium feels different through shoes than rubber does. And perhaps one of the major difference is visual appeal. Which IS important to some of us. As I mentioned above, when I used to hop in the Alfa, with my black Novitec pedals from Germany... I'd look at them upon entry.. they made me smile.
  16. I NEED those wheels. I love that big front lip spoiler. It's an aquired taste but the more I see it the more I love it. Those wheels are 17x9. They look spot on. I really need some!!!!!!
  17. Just amazing. What is that front lip? A special Nismo S-Tune front lip? Where can I get me one? Anyone? Rezz?! I even love that Nismo sticker set. I hate stickers but that red stripe is dead sexy. Where can I get that too? Rezz?!
  18. Ouch?! $200 from Autobarn? I'll have to call them tomorrow to find out before I rip myself off!!!
  19. Bugger bugger bugger. I really want Razo's Nismo wheels but it's starting to look like I cannot fit them. So close yet so far, this is annoying.
  20. Hi guys, About to buy some wheels in the for sale section (my dream wheels!) they are 18x10.5! I currently have 17x9 front and rear and it looks like I could get wider. I have done my research and found RB Motoring have an R32 GT-R with 9.5inch front and 10 rear but can I fit 10.5?! If I can I will be a very happy man! Any help appreciated.
