  1. Holy shit I went thinking it would be quiet track day as my R32 has just been built and tuned and I've not yet tracked her since. Anyways I get there and there's a whole squadron of damn fast cars!!! I didn't get to meet all of you. Another time I hope. I was in the grey R32 GT-R with plates "RB26" and I also brought my white EVO with plates "TME" which I let all my mates drive. Anyways. Cyas around! PS: Loved the tough black R32 GT-R, and the blue one with the K-Mart Wing! Hard GT-R's hard!!! Some pics of the cars. I didn't get pics today did anyone else? That oil on the track sent me off in a massive way and I scratched a rim... nooooooo!!!! I'll lose sleep over that for sure tonight lol.
  2. The mould has the lump Shan, so it was perfect pretty much.
  3. I've taken off many a decal with a hairdryer, plenty plenty of patience and WD40 then Meguiers scratch-X.
  4. OKies some pics:
  5. Got the new carpet in, it's black, just the front half which stops just under the front seat. Looks absolutely amazing. Pics will follow. Plushpile. It's moulded pretty well, came really quick to me in Syd. from Melb. (3 days), easy to cut (you have to cut out all the holes yourself). Lovelydubly!!! I'm stoacked!
  6. Will not be posting pics. Spent some time today taking off the old carpet. Removed seats, seat belt retainers, dead pedal and centre console/unit. I had to slice the carpet underneath the centre console to get it out without taking the whole dash out. The R32 manual suggests to do so when removing and installing so phew to that, made it a lot easier. Amazing what's under there (the plastic air vents which lead to the rear passenger foot wells are nuts). Can't quite take that off without taking off the dash so it stays. So much tar too. Damn can't be stuffed getting that off either!!!
  7. GTR centre console clip thing: What does this clip into on an R32 GT-R? Cheers.
  8. OK I just called them and placed an order over the phone for mine. Turns out they come in 2 pieces even though the R32 carpet is all 1 piece. So since I have no rear seats due to my cage I just ordered the front piece in black plush. $95 + $25 delivery to me in Sydney. Good stuff, hope it's not a pain to install... I'm crap at DIY!!! Thanks heaps Shan for the contact.
  9. This is awesome. I HATE the grey carpet and would love some black carpet. Now, the original grey carpet looks like LOOP PILE. Should I get black in LOOP PILE or PLUSH PILE? I just want it to be black, super flat, thin, subtle and not in your face at all. Looks like loop is flatter than plush but I'm really not sure based on the tiny images on their site.
  10. OK here's a low ball, but a solid, really farking low ball at that. $2k and consider the wheels (no tyres) sold. Please don't be offended. Perhaps you can consider it as one solid "bid" on them.
  11. Some more:
  12. Got mine + finally installed it today, works a treat, put it on the ashtray lid
  13. Would rather not ship. Hassle +++ I'd expect a serious buyer to want to see these in real life first.
  14. Guys happy to split it but really do not want to lower the price at all. I'd much rather keep the seats than sell them any cheaper as they really are in fantastic condition.
  15. Must be for R32 GT-R. Good cash waiting thanks!!!
  16. Holy shit Richard that's hardcore man!!!
  17. Indy's a great mechanic. He's helped be to build my car and what we've always gone for is longevity. A bullet proof engine. I am sure 250awkw would be great on the circuit for years to come. It's what my car's made for. I've talked to Indy and we're going to do another map on the Power FC next week. We're hitting 300 this time, all good. It won't be as "safe" as the 250 set-up but that's to be expected I suppose. Thanks for all the input guys. Much appreciated. Very glad to have these forums around.
  18. Quick question then guys, what's an acceptable knocking level?
  19. Yep. My gut says that something's not quite right. Not with the set-up, perhaps more with the tune. If I get someone else to tune the car I potentially might void any sort of warranty I have on the engine. I'll have to look into this. Having said all that, and having read up on similar set-ups. I'd say I am missing about 50kw. Having 50 more and still a very safe and conservative tune should be possible.
  20. Yes have cam gears, poncams are type-B, yes it's a low reading dyno (dead stock EVO 6.5 reads 143.kw). Dyno is at IS Motor Racing. Indy is my mechanic and tuner I'll be posting up the dyno graph ASAP.
  21. Hi all, I recently rebuilt the motor and went for quality products: HKS GT-SS turbos HKS Conrods HKS Pistons HKS actuators HKS exhaust manifolds HKS dump pipes HKS front pipes HKS intercooler piping kit HKS spark plugs HKS fuel pump Nismo fuel regulator Nismo 555cc injectors Nismo racing thermostat Nissan N1 oil pump Trust/Greddy heavy duty timing belt Apexi power intake kit PWR aluminium radiator PWR intercooler Tomei metal head gasket Tomei poncams I'm not after a massive horsepower street machine. I sold the 2530's as I found them too laggy on track. It's a track car primarily and I need a lot of response and power down low/mid for coming out of corners. Power at the redline's no use to me. I got 250kw at all 4's on the dyno at 1.4bar of boost. Tuner says it's a very very conservative and safe tune and absolutely zero knocking. I've seen many people on these forums get 250kw with a dead stock internals and turbos!!! I'm just wondering what you guys think of this. I've put so much cash into this, and 250kw seems to be a little low, but I'm not sure. I'd appreciate your thoughts.
  22. delete post.
  23. All the hard plastic seals are looking crap on my car too I neeeeeed numbers!!! Group Buy!!!
