U said u only got your FULL Singaporean on December 2008 aye? I dunno how the system works in Singapore but do you have like a P or something before your full license? cz If you do have driving experience on P's you can add that time on to your Singaporen full license, with that being said you maybe still qualified to convert that over to a full license in NSW and I m pretty sure about that ...however you will need to find that license as a prove though... My guess is that once you have obtained your Australia license, your international license would not be valid to be used in Australia anymore...but I do think you will be fine using your QLD full license and driving a turbo car...
-
Hope my past experience will help... I've shown my international license to cops a few times, the last time a cop asked if I were a citizen...I told him that I am a Permanent Resident and I got taken to court for driving without a valid license... He told me if you're holding a student visa you will have no problems using your international license... How long do you have until you can get your full license? My suggestion is to wait...cause I kinda did what you are trying to do here by transferring my license from Malaysia...but on that license it was showing that I have only had it for 2 years and 10 months (couldn't locate my expired license) as 3 years is what you need to qualify for full license, so I went straight to green P and was driving a FTO...I thought of going for my full after the 2 months have past but I waited for another year and just got it late last year...cause I really couldn't bother doing DQT...

Vehicle- 1995 MITSUBISHI FTO DE3A Price- $4,900* Interior Colour - Black / Maroon Kilometres - 207,000 Colour- Maroon Transmission - 5 speed Manual Body- 2 door 4 seat COUPE Drive type- Front Reg Plate- BBQ86W Reg Expiry- APR-2010 Road Worthy Certificate- No Manual, DVD touchscreen, 18 inch wheel, Veilside body kit and very negotiable, CALL 0406 970 455 NOW!!! No mechanical problem at all. Never been tempered with, no engine and exhaust modification but still sounds great, service twice in the last year although I have only driven this for the last 5000km. Just serviced before Xmas, new brake pads, new belts, new air con condenser, air con is now very cold. 18 inch rims tires 80%. Perfect little sports car for the P-platers who love speed, power and looks, Manual, the 2.0 V6 engine churn out quite some great torque. Momo steering, matching interior color, DVD player with USB connection so you can simply put your favorite movies and music on a USB and play it. Rims are a little scratched, Bodykit / paint not in the best condition, tachometer sticky. reverse light bulbs needs replacement. trying to be as honest as possible however this is all i can think of for now... Reason for selling - Have 2 of the same cars and just bought a Skyline, would definitely love to keep as it has been great but doesn't drive it often enough (weekends only) and hate to see it being waste. Only 5000km was put on by me in the last year, Previous owner used it on highway a lot, would be missed. Call anytime 0406 970 455 or PM me for more questions, inspection can be arrange after 6:30pm weekdays and all weekends, as mentioned, negotiable.

I have a very similar problem...maybe I have bought your car... Mine is a R34 GTT though...not lowered but when turning on low speed (1-5km/ph) it make a huge loud bang noise like you are going through a putt-hole at a certain speed Also the car would jump a little, literally like going through a bad road as well as the rear wheel seem to skip a lot more as i can hear little tires squeaking noise...i can only enter corner at a higher speed or slowly enter the corners with my clutch on then only accelerate when the car is straighten up again... I am absolutely clueless but the guy told me it is a "diff" problem and needs to be fix so i brought it to my friend's workshop however he specialise more in family cars but at least he is a mechanic, at least he can find out what the problem is first... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated Thanks
