  1. So in that case do you think im just better off to fit a cheap bleed valve on the car and rather than spending the money on a mac valve and wining up the boost through the vipec? That way I would have both pumps running all the time and no need for ckeck valves?
  2. I have searched but cant find what im after and have a few questions. When using twin external o44's with a surge tank is it necessary to use inline one-way valves in the fuel line after the pump or are they not needed? If they are needed where can they be purchased. Also hoping someone can tell me if ts possible for me to only have one of the 044 pumps running when the car is on low boost setting, and have a switch on the dash that activates high boost to the vipec and also activated the second pump? Just trying to limit the amount of fuel going roundy roundy when the car is just idling and all that fuel is not needed. I ask this as im using a twin entry rail and twin feeds and thought if one pump was on and the other wasn't it would force fuel back through the pump that is off?
  3. Yeah thought it might go off after that long. I just thought it would start and run rough.
  4. Injectors are brand new sards, but the fuel is about 12 months old so not sure if that would cause it. Can anyone tell me what fuse it may be so I can relay it to my mate so he can check it. Would the fuse be labbelled eccs, or ignition?

Thanks for the response guys, Im just trying to nut it out and it makes it even harder because Im in a sydney and the car is back in tas and Im just relaying the info my mate is giving me as he is the one who's having the dramas trying to start the car. It really must be something minor and i was hoping to be able to find out on here what it could be before I have to pay someone to go and sort it out for me. Yeah the car was running fine when it was last started. Its a fresh rb26 engine thats only just been run in and had its first oil change. The only thing thats been changed since the last time it was started 4 weeks ago is the battery was removed from the car. A new battery was then put in the car yesterday and now it will not start. It will just wind and wind over but will not fire. Can anyone tell me what fuses may be blown so i can have that checked first? I highly doubt that the spark plugs are fouled or anything like that as nothing has changed or been touched since it was last started. Also I doubt its a fuel issue as the pumps prime up fine when the acc is on and after winding it for a bit you can smell fuel. Does anyone know if it would be of any help if i plug the laptop into the Vipec to see if thats bringing up any faults or anything?
  6. Just after abit of advice. My car has been sitting around for nearly 12 months, the last time it was started was 1 month ago and it was only let idle for about 10mins... Anyway the car will not start anymore, it will wind over constantly but will not fire. What I want to know is could the old fuel be the cause of the car not starting or would old fuel just cause it to run rough?
  7. thanks for that man thats what i was after. I spose i just build the fuel setup so i can use both. Now all i gota do is find out if an intank 044 feeding a surge tank then twin 044s will work with e85
  8. what about a 50/50 mix of 98 and e85? Any point?
  9. Yeah thats the plan. But to run more boost I have to build a fuel system, and if 800's are going to be big enough for e85 fuel then I would build the setup with e85 in mind. If they aren't big enough i wont worry about it. I was just hoping i would make more hp on E85 at 18-20psi than i would on 98ron on the same psi.

  11. Sorry im currently makes 330rwkw on 13.5psi on a built 26 with all the fruit on 98 octane. Only have a single 044 intank at the moment but if its possible to run e85 with 800cc injectors i will build the fuel system to suit.

  17. For sale are my 4x Weds wheels and tyres. They are deep dish measuring 17x10 +30. Front wheels are fitted with 2x continental sports compact tyres with 80% tread. Rears are fitted with 2x federal super steels with about 60% tread left. These wheels are in good condition with no damage or gutter rash. Asking price $1500 ono.         I also have a pair of Uras wheels measuring 17 x 9 with + 30 offset. I currently don't have any pics of these wheels but If anyone is interested in them I will take some photos in the next few days and put them up. Asking price for uras wheels is $500ono with a pair of federals fitted to them.   18. You could be right mate, I spose the car is more of a track car now than anything. I just kept it registered so it didn't have to be put on a trailer all the time.
