  1. Anyone got any info on the lift pump?
  2. JPC mate
  3. Can anyone give me a part number on a good in tank lift pump thats a simple drop in job like the bosch pumps? Just want one that fits in the factory cradle to make life easier. It needs to be similar specs to a 15psi low pressure carter pump if that helps. Any info on a rough price and a good place to purchase one is also much appreciated.
  4. Sp performance wise I would be best off going the r33 gtr setup with the brembos?
  5. How much for that one man? Pm if you want
  6. Ok sweet, but isnt the difference that some are brembo callipers and the others are not?
  7. Iam looking to tidy up my engine bay and get rid of the plastic radiator overflow bottle and window washer bottle. My battery is in the boot so I would like to put the tank there. I have seen the RIPS onesin NZ, but can anyone point me in the direction of buying something similar to this pic below in Australia but better quality than the just jap ones, and something with a filter setup on the catch-can so its able to breath? Possibly with the two or three tanks all in one polished unit? I did do a search and saw some nice setups but cant find any decent ones currently advetised in Australia. Any help or pics of your current setup are much appreciated.
  8. I've done a search but cant really find exactly what iam after. What are the best performing calipers and rotors to use on the 32 gtst (front and rear) that will bolt up with minimal modifications. There seems to be a difference between the 32 gtr and 33 gtr calipers and rotors. Or are the 33 gtst ones the same as 32 gtr? I have just put a RB26dett engine into my 32 gtst and although its still road regestered the conversion has not been engineered. Iam looking at geting the car engineered soon and just want to know whats the biggest bolt on brakes I should use so I can make the conversion legal and also make the car stop properly! Any help or advise is much appreciated.
  9. So what bosch in tank pump would be easier to fit that is low pressure do you think?
  10. My tuner suggested I hook the second externall 044 up so it will only come on when I flick the power switch for the mac valve to turn it onto high boost. He said standard fuel lines will be fine also. That way the second pump is not running flat out all the time heating up the fuel.
  11. Here here mate! Well said. Im another person who is very happy with them.
  12. Fair enough mate but my car is a drift car and this is what my tuner/engine builder recommends I do. Im not doubting you know what your talking about, but I have just spent close to 50 grand on this whole engine conversion, parts and tuning. The fact that I now want to wind up the boost brings me to the point where to be safe i have to fit external pumps and surge tank. This is not an area i know alot about but i do know I really dont want to bin an engine due to fuel surge and leaning out. Im not trying to reinvent the wheel, but I'am inclined to follow my tuners advise who has had over 30 years experience in the industry.
  13. So surely if the 117B valve has twice the power as the 35A one It should be right to use with twin wastegates?
  14. Ok so i spoke to my tuner and he said to run 2 external 044 pumps with the surge tank and use a carter 15psi low pressure pump as my lift pump. Can you tell me how to plumb and wire the two pumps up, and also in regards to filters and one way valves, and will a 2 litre surge tank be big enough? Also wheres the best place to purchase the carter lift pump and the assosiated filters and one way valves to complete the setup?
  15. Good work mate, just the info i was after! Was that from pneumatic solutions by the way? if not can you tell me where so I can order one?
  16. That is incorrect. I purchased a N1 water pump for my rb26 and it leaked due to a slot being where one of the bolt holes should have been. Which was what made it leak. I have heard of people welding the slot up and then re drilling the bolt hole. A far as im aware, the r32 rb26 water pump is different to 33 and 34. Well thats with the N1 range anyway. I ended up selling the water pump to a member on here with a 34 and he had no problems..
  17. legend. Thanks buddy
  18. So the 117b is ok to use with twin wastegates then? I might ring the guy back and see if he can do a price on the 117b?
  19. What do you think XRATED, any advise?
  20. The number for the guy in perth I called is 0893615677 $111 bucks is alot better that $265 And thats with the number Ray gave me so Im hoping it should be right
  21. I just rang around and I can get one made up an a air supply shop for $111. Thats with the part number I got off ray, the distrubuter in perth that I rang didnt have them in stock but he can make me one up. Hopefully Its the right part number though as its different to the one you just stated,
  22. Good info ta mate. Couple more questions for you guys. Is there any way I can get away with keeping my 044 as a lift pump? Would just be alot simpler to leave it there and build the external setup seperately and not have to worry about pulling the intank pump out again. How do I use the factory speed control? Not to sure what that is? Also where do I get a fuel pump speed controller and how does that get wired in? I would really like to just keep the setup as simple as possible, so if the 044 intank pump is going to be to big to useand be a problem, what lift pump should I get and where can i get it from? If I really do have to take the in tank pump out, I will use that as my external and purchase a new lift pump.
  23. Ok so I ray Ray Hall and have the part numbers and prices. Small mac valve - 35A-ACR-DDBROBA --- $105 plus gst Large mac Valve - 225B-551BA ----------$265 plus gst Seems pretty dam expensive especialy after I bought the small one off ebay for $12.50 with $3 postage. Can anyone steer me in the right direction to buy one of these off a wholesaler, or even another type of new valve that will run twin wastegates? Cheers
  24. Can anyone tell me what power levels a single 044 pump can handle. Just after some reliable info and it seems as though you guys are the ones that can help me. Im in the process of building a fuel system for my rb26. Current setup is single in tank 044. Fuel is 98RON only. Im using dash 5's with the usual fruit, but boost is only standard at the moment on 13.5psi making 322rwkw Im about to wind the boost up next to around 20-22 psi if theres no detonation. My questions are: Will my current intank 044 be ok to use as the lift pump? Will an additional single 044 mounted externaly support 380-400rwkw (If thats what i should expect the car to make with 20-22psi?) Will a 2 litre surge tank be ok? What size fuel lines, any additional information i should know? Sorry to steal this thread so to speak but i have alot of the same questions as stated here and cant find the answers by searching. Any info is much appreciated
