Actually I found that the HKS SSQ doesnt leak boost whatsoever and I had no stalling issues. I tested one on my car for one day. My stock one stuffed up so I bought a Trust Type RS and plumbed it back. With an Apexi Pod filter and the spring tension tightened a little bit it still makes the right noises if thats what your after, but more importantly there is not stalling issues whatsoever.

Hi all. Just wondering if someone can point me in the right direction to find out on what the different number of flashes of the check engine light mean. If it flashes quickly 3 times that means the knock levels above 60 and the engine is pinging right ? Reason I ask is I saw it flash a few times awhile ago, and checked the hand controller on the PFC and the knock was only 12. But I think this time it only flashed once or twice....not 3 times. Usually when it flashes 3 times I check the PFC and the knock is above 60. cheers

damn !!!!!!!!!!! that is a pretty bad accident.....I think you and I both have used one of our nine lives. I had an accident slightly worse than that a few years back....XF falcon rammed by corolla from behind at 80km/h + and the car flipped vertically and landed on a fence....it was a corolla sedan csi after the accident it looked like a chop top hatchback.... Were you shaking a bit when you got out of the car ?? I know I was.... Anyways at least your ok !!!!

Hi guys.. I currently have a custom intercooler on my car, the dimensions are 600x 300 x 100 and is based on a PWR core. All the pipe work is mandrel bent and is polished alloy and the piping goes all the way up to the standard intake. Due to various reasons and the goals I want to achieve with this car changing I want to change to another custom setup. However I do need to sell my current setup. I originally wanted to go for a HUGE high mount turbo setup etc hence the reason why I got such a big cooler...but that has change This should also fit R33s with out too much hassle. The custom piping uses the stock cooler piping holes so no hacking of the body work is needed. The cooler itself is mounted on the bar between the lights (its in front of the thermo fans). Only modifactions needed would be to drill two holes in this bar to mount the cooler itself. Its in perfect working oder...and has the usual dents etc from daily driving and only thing "wrong" with it is that the end tank recently cracked but has been rewelded. Im sure any fabricator who knows what he is doing will be able to weld a new end tank on for you. Now for pricing. I paid $2300 for the whole setup up. I want a quick sale and will sell the whole setup for $1k...SLIGHTLY negotiable depending on how serious the buyer is. At this stage I do not have the new cooler so im only looking for a swap. Going by prices it seems R34 GTT coolers are worth around $250ish so im looking for a swap with a stock cooler and cash adjustment of $750 Will ship interstate at buyers expense....but sydney customer preferred.

Had a look through the wheel size and offset thread started by SK but there werent many posts on R34 GTT wheel sizes. Im after some 18inch rims... I currently have Work Meisters on the car in 18x8 front and 18x9 rear....I picked them up second hand so I dont really know the offset. I was looking at a set of rays gtc in 18x8.5 up front and 18x9.5 rears with +29 and +33 offset respectively. I wanna go one step further and get 18x9 up front and 18x10 on the rears... what offset would be best compromise in terms of caliper and guard clearance ?

neo31 If I remember correctly.....you bought an R34 GTT front cut and put the NEO engine in your 31 right? Do you still have the half cut ?? Im looking for a radiatory support bar and also maybe some other parts off the front end......

hahaha everyone seems to be in IT...which is why I chose not to do it at uni....I should have though....the IT related subjects are soo much more exciting and enjoyable than accounting and statistics... I thought there would at least be ONE person in accounting.......must be a dieing breed.... Im still a tertiary student.....working at a bakery 2 nights a week and working in golf retail 2 days a week and study rest of the week. After I finish...been a loooong time comin.....was too lazy to study in the early years......but yeah after I grad wanna get into finance/risk analysis or to the accounting/auditing fields. Oh and ill be starting a Japanese language course with some guy.........some guy named Beer Baron....
