  1. Thanks duncan. Ill look into that......
  2. You went to wakie in the yellow beast duncan ??? What times were you doing ?
  3. Bayside Blue ?????????????????? When did he get a respray ??? Last time I saw it, it was BLACK...........
  4. serious ???? Ive NEVER seen the slip light come on when TCS is off........ hmmm.......ill keep an eye on it next time...
  5. Hmm....im convinced thanks SK. Time to get me one of them tomei kits....heard they come with some electrical component to stop the hicas light from flashing ?? or is that another kit ?
  6. hmm while were on the topic of HICAS. How exactly do the lock kits work ? and are they safe ? Just that the thought of "locking" something in place by force when it has a natural tendancy to move doesnt sound right to me. Will it eventually cause some sort of damage to any component ?
  7. Yep go the Fujitsubo......Although I reckon the original tips on them are a bit small. So I changed mine to a 5.5inch Still dont mind the look of cannons....but only on the right car and when its angled Prefer Titanium cannons these days as oppose to the shiny ones.... Ganador Titanium exhausts with titanium cannon... :drooling:

  9. haha yes mine is almost always off as well. Comes in handy in the wet though So the removal of TCS wont affect and ECU functions?? Ie it wont go into limp home mode or start acting funny cause it cant sense that second throttle body ? Thanks Ian, may have told you this before, but I showed my mate your website and he loved your front bar and how you trimmed the top part of it to expose more of the cooler. He has pretty much gone and done the same thing. Ill send you some pics of it when its finished if you want
  10. hahaha thanks guys im just taking a study break and that provided me with some nice reading While im posting. OC: Goodluck and I hope you know your limits and try not to kill yourself in the R32. Personally id go an evo 7, they would both have to be second hand anyways and are in a similar price range and parts/maintenance wont be as pricey. Only thing I would have to agree on is with Scathings comments about parents buying you a house. Hey if my parents offered to buy me a house then id certainly take them up on it, I dont wanna be stuck in a 9-5 job till im in my mid 30s paying off a loan...... Ok not having a go at anyone but what I do find disturbing is that fact that some 18 yr olds are having a go at him. Your talking down on him as if he is a toddler, does 2 years really make that much of a difference in maturity and financial freedom ? eh....my 2 cents.
  11. Hi all Just curious to know if the TCS (Traction Control System) on the R34s are linked to anything important that will affect performance or driveability ? Reason for asking is im considering getting a new forward feed plenum chamber but this will get rid of the TCS. So just like to know if it will affect anything other than losing the ability to switch TCS on/off ???
  12. pfft women........they have a one track mind these days.....
  13. hahaha it aint pretty in the inside either well not yet..... Oh and for the dinner, I might be sleeping at a mates house near uni so I might be able to make it.
  14. MAKE ME!!! my car has been keyed several times and looks uggllayy at the moment. car will become a show pony once I grad at the end of year so ill definetly be there next year
  15. hahaha I find it hard to beleive, especially for the hardcore GTR owners....but it seems like everyone has had at least ONE rice car
  16. awesome time....... maybe its just the subliminal msgs from some movie about NOS....but saying that you have a "10 sec car" has a nice ring to it Just wondering.....would you have been able to make a 10 sec pass had your car been a manual ?
  17. After reading the I had a nightmare thread and reading about one member coming from XD, XF falcons (not saying there bad ) just interested to know what sort of cars everyone has owned. If you are one of the older sorry "mature" members and have had too many rides to count then just post your FIRST car and maybe some others that may be of interest. Oh and any mods done to the vehicle. I guess Ill start it off then First car was a 99 Kuranda Green Csi corolla. manual stock as a rock. Second car was a 00 Silver AE112R conquest corolla manual.....GO THE ROLLAs Rims, huge milo can exhuast, gear knob and pedals and snap on seat covers :innocent: . haha yes I know sounds ricey but it was all done tastefully both rollas were sedans. and now current car is the line. Switching from the TRD camp to the NISMO camp was a bit odd at first..but now ill never look back !! (except maybe for an AE86) yes I love my rollas.......
  18. Yep does sound like the solenoids of the EBC. Does it seem louder or should I say more noticeable in say 4th or 5th ? ie driving off boost then coming on boost in these gears ? If it is the solenoid than you shouldnt really notice it in 1st or maybe even second gear as you hit boost too quick and the exhuast/induction noises take over. I currently have a Blitz ID3 (should use same dual solenoid) and previously had an AVCR in the car. I have to say the avcr was quite noisy compared to the blitz item but regardless the blitz makes it as well. Just wondering if anyone has an EBC that uses a stepper motor ?? eg HKS EVC. Interested to know if the stepper motors make any noise...... Anyways in regards to the noise, one way to "fix" it is to use rubber mounts. A mate of mine had his AVCR rubber mounted and I couldnt hear a thing. He had stock airbox so no almost no induction noise and his exhuast was quieter than mine.
  19. mintie....patience my friend
  20. thanks sydney kid. Just curious cause most of the tuners I have spoken to basically said that you shouldnt really run atmo bovs on afm equipped cars and if I REALLY want it than I should change to an ecu which runs on MAP sensors. In my case tightening the spring tension on the bov to the hardest setting did improve the stalling issues dramatically yet the tuner still had a hard time getting rid of it. In hindsight we found that the actually quality of the bov itself was the problem. ie it was leaking, ever so slightly but still leaking regardless.
  21. haha ok dean which direction is your bov facing ?? mine is directed to the left side of the car...so Ill take the drivers side and you do the passenger side....well do a twin drive by Wait till end of year mona....you too mintie
  22. Hi guys Just wondering if the PFC is more "sensitive" to atmo bovs than the stock ecu ?? Cause in my case the car had a greater tendency to stall after the PFC fitment. I did get a Z32 afm at the same time would this contribute to it ? I did plumb it back and the problem is now fixed. Just curious to know whether if this was an unusual case for me or have anyone else experienced this on their cars ??
  23. HAHAHA silver that pic only looks good cause there is black 34 and a nice white 33 in it.... the silver one on the left ruins it
  24. Have you set it up properly ? Is it in wastegate mode or actuator mode? manual or auto mode ? If you have the instructions go through it and make sure EVERYTHING is set up right. Personally I found that manual mode works better than auto mode. Either way its a good boost controller so hang in there and hope everything works out for you.
