hmm not sure if this point has been covered yet..but dont lightend flywheels give slower acceleration/response uphill ? If this guy really is building it for the mountain pass than there will no doubt be plenty of uphills and downhills in his path.. Oh and if you wanna spend $2k on your car get an aftermarket launch/traction control system fitted, some of them come with the option of "flat shift" and will no doubt help in acceleration and make the car more responsive overall.

agreed...my exhuast is pretty much a straight pipe from the cat back and it IS loud...but not drony and more than bearable on idle and low revs.

harsh..... hey I used to turn up to a lot of cruises and most of the dinners...... Other priorities have come into play these days......like working graveyard shift on thursday, friday and sat nights which rules out most sau outings But im working less nights and more day shifts now so if its next friday ill be there, car ready or not......ill just tag along with someone hehe

Im in the process of changing the guages as well.. Already got the defi boost guage on the a-pillar and will get Oil pressure, Oil temp and exhuast temp when the time comes.. was thinking of getting water temp but thats on pfc handcontroller so decided against it.

Well each to their own but I personally try to avoid anything GTR for my car......just dont wanna make it look like something its not. The only GTRish styling ill have is the bonnet, but it's made specifically for the GTT ie no need to change the latch or the hinges.. Speaking of which you will need to get one of these bonnets or a genuine GTR bonnet cause the GTR bonnet is shorter than the GTT one, if you go the genuine GTR one than I think you may need to change the bonnet latch and hinges. Other than that its front bar, rear bar, front and rear guards and then of course rear diffuser and also the red reflector on the right side of the number plate and the rear wing. All in all its not worth it if you wanna get genuine parts cause once your done you probably could have afforded the real deal if you traded your car in.

Take a look at my sig T04GTR from the forums is also a mechanic there.... Those guys are very particular about their work and you wont find a cleaner workshop anywhere.....
