hey guys . i read through most of the rb30 conversion thread and i have some questions please help if you can i have a rebuilt forged rb30et and a r32 rb25de non vct head i plan on building a 25/30 how can i increase compression from the horribly low comp if i just combine the two idealy id like around 8.5:1 i am doing all the work myself except the machining so i need to know what to tell the workshop thanks heaps Ben

yea mate id be keen to use th r30 LCA's how much work is required just chop of r30 castor mount and weld a31 mount on what do u think because that sounds quite possible

ok i think i need to clarify iam installing an rb30et i currently have the 20det loom in the car and complete rb30et loom can i leave the rb20det loom in to run accessories such as tacho speedo lights heater /fan if not how much should i be paying to get this done by a sparky please bear inmind iam not an electrician an although i have a fair mechanical knowledge electrics is where i struggle

ok so il use rb30 loom i would prefer a 25/30 but this vlt motor is pushing 200kw already so the 25 head can wait what about the lights and the dash (speedo tacho temp guage and all that stuff) do i have to worry about it ??

iam replacing the rb20det in my cefiro with a rb30et can i use the existing wiring loom or do i have to use the rb30 loom what is the easiest way thanks Ben
