1 mmhg = 0.0193 psi. Can't do that on the fly haha. Going to do the solenoid trick this weekend I hope and do the engine oil + oil filter . Anyone from the hills free on the weekend to have a chat or meetup?

Found out my issue about not running 7PSI. Was just my stupidity again. Read the dash properly and its in MMGH or something, and i googled it and got a converter which is saying its approximately 7PSI. Will be installing a boost gauge asap to get a proper reading!

Interested got pics? Is this a direct replacement for my 33 ? Cheers Colin

Are you saying i can run my stock 33 cooler on 11psi with no issues? I always thought to run anything higher than 7psi i'd have to upgrade. Would it be better to run a 33 or a 34 cooler? Having a sidemount will be AWESOME to maintain awesome stock looks! and save some $$ =D Thanks Colin

Hi guys, is it true that i can run approximately 10/11 psi on a 34 gtt intercooler if i swapped mine out? Looking at maybe getting an exhaust with dual tips and a 34 intercooler so i don't have a huge slab of metal on the front keeping it looking stock =) I can't afford to get a another one and want to slowly build this one up to a reliable ~ 200kw =D hopefully 200kw = turbo back + 34gtt intercooler + boost controller and maybe a tune

I know that its 100% stock except coil overs + wheels lol. I have just put in a drift pod and taken out the stock air box to give it a go. Thats all! I'm resetting my ECU atm so see where that takes me

Getting the reading from the stock boost gauge on the dash. Will be putting in a boost gauge after my exhaust i hope. Bit strange why its not going over 5PSI =(

Hey guys, is it safe to run 7psi by grounding the solenoid on stock sidemount etc? Going to put on the exhaust soon, but i don't seem to be hitting 7psi over 4500rpm. Stays at 5psi for some reason? Cheers Colin

Thinking of getting a water compressor or whatever they are called and a foamer... And give it a good claybar/polish/wax My plans for the car is of course - zorst - FMIC - Boost controller - Tune . And hopefully be able to leave it at that hopefully........ hahaha Cheers Colin

Will definately keep all my stock parts, but i was thinking down the track maybe 1-2 years... If i leave it as is... or spend another say 3-5k on it getting the basic mods like exhaust, front mount, boost controller, tune etc. The resale value would be exactly the same wouldn't it lol. Maybe i'll just spend my money on getting good detailing gear and try keep the paint in the best condition :> oh decisions!

Thanks for the comments guys, turbo back exhaust should be going on soon and hopefully a front mount once i get the funds Blank canvas it is! Car is in great condition and i will sleep well that there will be no nasty suprises with any mods on my car

Thanks for all the help mate! Hopefully get most of that done this weekend. I got all 4 brake pads changed to QFM pads + got my rotors machined so i hope they would of checked my brake fluid. Will look into all the other ones. Looking to get an exhaust anyone know any good cheap places to get one made / good boltons? I was tihnking Kakimoto Mega N1 but its a bit more than i wanna spend. Got any feedback on the JJR ones? Full turbo back exhaust is only like $700 ! compared to about 1.2k for everything else lol. Cheers Colin

Hey guys, finally got some pics of my car and thought i'd say hi to everyone! Its a 97 gtst completely stock! In the process of filling out the form to get NSW membership Anyone from the Hills area that could share their knowledge with me on the car would be great! Just some quick questions are - I want to change the engine oil and oil filter this weekend. What oil would be decent for my car and doesn't destroy the budget? Are oil filters from repco any good? What else should i look at getting changed / checked (gearbox oil dif oil etc) Anyone selling an air con compressor? Since i got it re gassed it has been making loud hissing noises and the mechanic said that my compressor is on its last legs =( So here is my car that i got fresh from japan ( If you even made it this far ) Cheers Colin
