Hello All, Im Kyle. New to SAU. Well been hanging around but haven't spent much time going through alot the posts on here. I am a owner a of a R33 Gtr Vspec(EAT26) . My R33 Gtr Vspec EAT26 Love this thing coming off a bike to this so going from one extreme to another! I have some plans for the GTR.... Ecu first going with the vipec. I am a 21 year old I.t. Consultant working shift work. I am also the Founder of GS&N GS&N Brisbane GS&N Brisbane Facebook Group Currently in the talks with Mercury to host a dyno day for GS&N as a meet and greet sort of situation. hope to see you all out and about! Hi, I have been personally looking at the vipec for my 33 gtr aswell. I have been talking with Trent from Mercury about the V44(plug in ecu). I asked about the features the plug in features all the same as the v44 just in plug in form so it has a 2 step, anti lag, and flat shift however the v88 has everything. You do require a boost controller to control the boost or you can buy a solenoid then have the ecu tune it. Trent said to me the board by its self is about 1900 without install however may be cheaper from Godzilla as they are the distributor and sell to Mercury. I have been looking over and over what ecu's are the best to run, like apexi, haltech, motec, etc. Each ecu has its plus' and negatives but i have to say personally for my needs and what i intend my gtr to do the vipec is the best bang for the buck, which include all the features especially the 2 step so i can get my personal best QTR mile time down. Godzilla are a very professional bunch to deal with, had my npc clutch installed by them. and my timing corrected. Would def go back to them again if i havent had even better service from Mercury and how they talked and explained things to me, Trent and Tess (Mercury motorsport owners) are awesome to chat too, and they can also help you out with finance if need be. I have read that the ecu does come with a base map suited for the car however.... would recommend tuning and install by a shop so your covered for warranty. Atm i am running a Tomei direct replacement ecu(came with it from japan) i am only making 198kw at 14psi. I am hoping that my car will push over the 300Hp mark with just a tune. But the vipec is the best choice IMO. Good luck with it keep us posted! Kyle.

Yeah lol. i know.... window tinter didnt give me the option just goes your getting this and im like ok..... lol. Dale shutUP! lol. Im still debating between what ecu to go with. yes the powerfc is a proven ecu but the technology is slowly getting out dated but it is still an option. i looked at the vipec 44, haltech, power fc d-jetro, motech, and a couple others. but leaning more towards the vipec 44 due to the two step, anti lag and flat shit functions as well as the fact that it also eliminates the AFM as it has a Map sensor on board. But just awaiting tax time to actually get to doing anything.... i need to replace the turbos looking at a gt3540r sinlge on a 6boost manifold with a couple other things to tie it all in. but yeah all up in the air atm.... I do however want it set up with a little bit more power before power play next year. but currently she is running pretty mild.

Well Boys and Girls thought i would update my build so far. This is my 1995 R33 GTRVspec. Running 14psi, 3 1/2" Kakimoto exhaust, Tomei Cams, 18x9.5 Rota Dpts, Nismo Organic Clutch, Profec B spec 2 boost controller, Nismo Fuel Reg. Carbon fibre front lip, and wing blade. 5% Tint Soon to have various Dryden Motorsports(Custom airbox, cooling panel, heat shield, and badges) Also going to have a couple GS&N Brisbane Stickers GTR Skyline and Nissan Brisbane I have run a 12.9 down the quarter average is a 13 flat.

The tyres i had on them are 265/35r18s. and yes the ad is for rims only. tyres your looking at Kumho KU36 $236.00 from option 1 for tyres. http://www.boostcruising.com/forums/index....howtopic=500265 I am unsure if they will fit the rear of the Gtst. they "should" might need to roll the guard tho. and the front they "should" fit them again yes.

Southside. what baskins? I mean the front lip... the previous owner screwed it majorly yeah 124 dollars later lol. hahaha i had to get a vspec 2 nur badge and get rid of the 2nur. I am gettin a Carbon Fibre front lip from PSI PARTS in victoria 500 lol. cheers. I am running nankanks lol so i duno just musta caught traction somewhere lol. hahaha only running nankans until they die lol. Yeah i have another set of rims at home im thinking of gettin a set of slicks for but yeah we'll see more money on engine first lol. Yeah im meant to be starting to get around the town but now with the tint how it is im very careful about it lol. Clearance is enough lol. legal i think. lol.

Since the last post she has had a Greddy Spec B Turbo Timer and Boost Controller Installed. New Organic Exeddy Nismo Clutch Modified by NPC, Installed by Godzilla Motorsports. Full Service Timing belt, Power steering belt, Aircon belt, and Water pump belt. All Fluids have been changed. Tinting by Mik(71NTA) did a professional job, hes a good mate. Has run a 13.005 @ 103mph on stock boost. Ill pics of before and after. When i first got Her New R34 V-Spec Badge New Rotas $1150 to my door. Rotas on the GTR After tinting by MIK May feature some of his UTE and this is the GTR so far after lowering. Engine bay pics will be put up once everything comes into place. and yes the front lip is shit previous owner takes credit for that one lol. new carbon fibre front lip, spoiler blade and end caps should arrive shortly.
