  2. I have added a few extra things to the build list. Tomei Sump Baffle ERD Catch Can Set up. And I am looking at the Mines Cam baffles.... Oil control is starting to be a thing for me.... not so good for my pocket hahaha. Engine covers, Plenum, Turbo intake pipe and Strut bar should be all painted and finished tonight.... Might be able to pick them up tomorrow touch wood.

Yeah everything is looking good, got offered some Grex brakes yesterday I am tempted however I want more the engine to be set up right so focusing on that lol. Nah I am pretty sure its a Z but it might be a differenct brand version of the Z tho.

Well not much has happened, the block has been sent off to the machinist should arrive back early next week from what I have heard, I have received my heater hoses from Performance-Wise and I received my CAS Sensor gasket from Kudos Motorsports. The engine covers are being painted up along with all the bits and pieces that can be painted of the engine. I am getting very excited to see the results of the build I am aiming to push 500hp on pump with then going the VCT set up. Once I get to that I will be then setting the car up with the right suspension settings, brakes etc. Unfortunately my car will most likely be just as complete as I am going under the knife for hand surgery lol.
  6. Your best bet would be to talk to Dan from Elite Racing Developments or ERD for short. I know they have to drill a oil gallery in the head and then they change cam profiles etc.... Hyper6 Sean my tuner, he is running it in his 32 GTR atm with a T04z runs 1000rpm earlier on the dyno graph its pretty awesome I will try and see if I can get him to post it up or Dan might have a copy.
  7. I had a similar issue. Check to see if you can find any wires that look like they have made contact. Mine shorted out on the power steering tank. Failing that get it to a Auto sparky. The ignitors are a common problem but I have only replaced 1 in the year I have had my GTR. If its the CAS sensor you can just unplug the old 1 and plug in the new 1.... disconnect the coil pack whilst you do it and just turn you should hear the injectors ticking. Try that and the Ignitor then start looking for a Auto sparky. EFI got mine all sorted and wired up my new Wolf V500 Ecu.
  8. The V-Cam will be more a lets make it more responsive over fast. but in turn will be quick down the straight I have asked but my goal is 500hp on pump which is achieve able given with the quicker response then = WINNING good street/track on occasion car then project number 2 will start.

If I do track days I will most likely go DBA4000s until I decide that my calipers need upgrading I want AP Racing mmmmmm AP Racing...

  14. No we didn't, however some what glad we didn't. Found half a washer(looked like a washer) in the sump just floating about. If I would of upped it more and more I could have done more damage. The crank so far looks good so there is no need to replace that yet. I have gone by what Dan has said and he are still trying to diagnose the issue.

  17. I found it the other way. more Vipec > Haltech. Why not wolf V500? I am running a wolf v500 in my 33 GTR same features as the vipec but quite a few more. All depending on the tuner's preference but I ran both Power FC and Wolf V500. The features in the Wolf are IMO alot better than both Haltech and Vipec along with support being excellent.
  18. Do I have to tell you to stop trolling as well? LOL... mind you a LS AWD GTR would be AWESOME! Balls and grip pitty the bonnets won't clear much like the 32s with a ls1 will clear the cross member. So far the plans are to stay as are however Dan's hunch may be to forced to go stroker due to the oil issues.

  20. He has helped me out alot in the past. Yeah, Naturally I do not know a whole much about it, not VERY mechanical minded but I do know its Different to the V-Cam set up. I do, Im not really going to go into it. Mercury have done their dash with me, I wont be going back HOWEVER. I have known cars to get good results. Sean from EFI is my ONLY tuner from now on tho for obvious reasons.

  22. Yes however you also said sump design which is standard hahaa. No we did not put it on the Dyno. I am just playing the waiting game hahaa lol.
  23. I am sure Dan will post in here. I personally filled the sump with 6l as its the standard sump it still did it, so I am guessing it is oil pump issue but yeah wait and see I guess.
