Yeah apparently it was expensive. Great exhaust its just those mids that are too loud for me.. Actually thats not a bad idea, will see if there is anything Motordyne can add to quieten it.. and yeah it has dual pipes. They're so pretty it would be a shame to replace the mufflers. Will try to link pic here instead.

Hi all, Long time no see. I've bought a 2012 370z recently with a Motordyne Shockwave exhaust. It's a little too loud for me with usual driving and I'd like to turn the volume down slightly. Can I add a resonator? additional muffler to quieten it down? I've always had Fujitsubo exhausts on my cars and would like it to be at a similar volume. u guys using a powered antenna for that result? Ive got an Asuka and can barely pick up a channel in Syd also how did you bypass the trigger that cuts out the screen when the car is in motion? that ridiculously expensive switch or something else?

Im running fujitsubo zorst + fujitsubo Y pipe + custom quad tips (+z tube + pod filter + spacer etc etc) pretty quiet until you open it up

Yeah my fujitsubo + y pipe is the same, just as quiet as stock but louder in the higher RPM. Can feel a difference in power in the mid range, and to a lesser extent high range,.. but yeah. woulda liked louder.

I tired out QFM pads, I got the HPX coz I use the car mainly for daily driving. They were cheap as, they work great and the biggest difference is there is hardly any brake dust - where the wheels would be dirty 3 or 4 days after washing, the new pads wont get the wheels as dirty as that until about 3 weeks. Greg is on this forum and is very helpful - definantly reccomded.

Yeah do it yourself, easy as. I actually had the guy I was buying the system off drive to my place and I swapped them over - took a few hours, mainly because it started pissing down halfway through.. but I wont go into that

I got my manual premium for $27k - dont let the dealers rape you. As far as auto v manual goes, its not really a question.. manual for sure! I drive mine in traffic every day and its fine. Stop/start is a pain, but its a pain in any car. Clutch did take a bit longer for me to get used to than most other cars tho, not sure why.

I got QFM HPX pads and RDA rotors from Greg @ GSL rallysport in QLD. They are for Brembo's, Cheapest around and was delivered the next day. Brakes feel pretty good so far and dont make a sound, they came highly reccomended so I thought Id give em a try.

FYI was just in need of new pads and rotors, the passenger front had zero pad left and was grinding the metal all good now tho

New pads and rotors ordered.. fingers crossed this fixes it up..

Did you replace the rotors when you replaced the pads?
