  1. Only one bolt holding the cover on Nismo end plates are just adhesive stick ons
  2. Feels alot stronger in the higher rpm range and just holds the power doesnt feel like it drops off like it did with the std computer and the torque is very noticeable which is awesome and it spools up quicker This is what i can feel, but i am very happy with it

UPDATE Picked up my GTR this afternoon and we ended up making 260Kw at all four on 14PSI, but with my new boost controller in we have it set on 12PSI with the option of 8,10 and 14PSI All i can say is that it feels great and drives brilliantly the guys at Pulse racing have done a great job and their service and help they gave me through all of this was impeccable. Now its time to just enjoy the car

  7. yea i only ever ran it on 95, drove sown to geelong from sydney and back in it and was getting 600 odd a tank. Basically the ecu would make the car run like a pig for a day or two when a mod was done then it would adjust to it and drive fine after that

  9. It made a difference, more torque and sounded great. Didnt retune just let the corolla ecu relearn itself and it was fine, was getting 500+kms a tank
  10. my old car was an 04 corolla with TRD cold air intake, ported headers and sportivo muffler found that was all you needed

Just a quick update, Went back to the same tuner after being reassured that he would check it and see if there was anything wrong...after a day i get a phone call saying my power fc is screwed...so stock ecu back in Dropped car off at a different workshop this morning to see if they can make any sense of it...get a phone call around lunch time saying the power fc is working perfectly and with a preliminary tune is making around the 250kW at all four wheels mark with more fine tuning to come and thats with boost wound back to 12PSI Will report back with the end result This has been a huge learning experiance for me and now have found the workshop ill be with forever Thanks again for everyones input

Not sure what they are set too I agree 14PSI is too much on these turbos and will be getting a boost controller soon Im not chasing numbers on a piece of paper, i just knew that the car is capable of so much more and after driving the car foe awhile you can feel all he is done is push the torque lower and leave the top end with nothing, IMO he did a half assed job and im not happy with it and in the end thats what matters Dumps will be changed once i get -9s next yr. i would like to only run 12psi looks like i need that boost controller
  14. they saw straight away that the rune was crap!! There is no restriction, and seeing that it is running 2psi more then when i first bought it (due to exhaust) just shows he did a half assed job
  15. You have PM Thought about CRD but the workshop i am going to have really helped me out and made time for me to check it all out. Yea i wasnt going to go back to him again, just for the reason that it could get worse. When i went today they also still had my previous power run when i first bought the car on file, they were shocked and straight away saw the problem and reassured me that it will get fixed I have a 100cell highflow metal cat Thank you for the support im still new to all this but hey its all about learning right!!!   16. Put the car on the dyno today result was 194, will be getting a retune by another workshop next week. Not happy with 'recommendations' from first tuner to do a way with the stock airbox as it's cause of alot of restriction. Ohwell I guess this is how you learn where to go...
  17. For all i know the diff gears are standard... you could be right about the cam gears being adjusted for more low down I am getting the car on a different dyno tomorrow should be interesting

  20. Used a reputable tuner here in sydney, going to geelong for 3months starting in June might go see racepace while im down there, always admired their work

  22. Boost is at around 14PSI I was hoping for around the 230 mark only difference i believe i can feel is the torque, print out stated 588Nm
  23. Didnt get the first run to compare as i dropped it off early,would it be worth going to a different dyno and having a run?? Feels more torquey and pulls harder (i think) Had a look throught the RB26 dyno thread and there is a 33GTR with similar mods and has 264kw

Hey all, had my power fc pro installed and tuned today with tomei cam gears on my 33gtr, was excited to go and pick her up but... result was only 201 atwkw, when i first bought the car i dynoed it and made 203.5atwkw Is it just the tune that sucks, should i go back to the tuner and ask questions or go to a different tuner?? car is stock other then kakimoto exhaust (3 and abit inch) from dumps back high flow cat and boost restrictor removed
