im pretty sure they are going through Ferntree Gully Nissan who im told are good for sourcing import parts. i might give them a call tomorrow and see what i can find out. cheers lads

guys mid January i was sitting in traffic on a hill when the cock in front of me not paying attention let his foot off the brake and rolled into me. he damaged/cracked my front bar, grille and bonnet garnish. - nothing too major i had it quoted including paint using all genuine parts, the job is going through the other guys insurance to all new parts are being used!! (thanks to Cam for helping me find the page i needed in the Nissan Fast) they told me to come back in 2 weeks (1st of Feb) to start the job, i explained i knew it would have taken longer than that so was expecting more the start of March as the parts were being shipped from Japan. i have been in contact with the panel beaters today who ordered the parts through Nissan and they are having trouble getting answers from them. and are also under the impression they havent even been sent yet. has anyone had any experience getting replacement parts for your Stagea through Nissan??? as i seem to be having heaps of problems with this. i have the money to spend from the Insurance if need be, am i able to order them myself?? or does anyone know if Nissan parts centre would have been affected in the recent tradgedy in Japan?

SORTED! turned out it was the wire connector on the fusable link was loose. (on top of the battery - terminal) so was cutting in and out

hey guys, car is acting very weird at the moment and am a little worried as im about to sell my other car in the next few days and this will be the only one for a month or so while i wait. about a month ago i broke down in the city late at night with a suspected dead battery. (well now im thinking it was something else) had a jump start from a friend and was on my way. drove 25km home and parked in garage, started next morning no problem - no noticeable issues since. Friday night just gone was driving locally at night in the back streets and turned my Hi Beams on and my radio cut out - thought that was odd. Next morning (Saturday) i couldn't get into the car with the button. so i opened it with the key and disarmed the alarm which was sounding with the Nissan immobilizer key, then the car wouldn't start, was completely dead (no lights etc). I left it went back inside and came out an hour later and opened the door. the lights were on and the key started it fine no problem. WEIRD! This morning starts no problem (not started since Sat) driving to work stop to get a cup of coffee, lock car go inside, come out and unlock get in start. Stereo has reset? so i tune it back to my station. as im worried on my lunch break i take it for a drive and notice the Volt Gauge has more movement than normal but still around 14v constant but is flickering more than i have ever noticed. while driving i turn on the Hi Beams and the car nearly died mid flight, as soon as i let go of the light it sorted itself out and kept driving. ANY IDEAS GUYS.>??? SCOTTY??? im assuming its either my alternator or my battery, but its weird as its at a constant 14v which tells me the alternator is ok, but it sat still for 4 days and started fine which tells me the battery is ok?

i let scotty operate on mine too - and they arent repairable as per the older ones. so will be a new/second hand one they are available on yahoo auctions japan. and before you try a 350Z one wont work as the adaptors are different. unsure about the skyline v35 350gt but id imagine they are the same as the 350Z

mine did the exact thing about 4 months ago. i was overtaking a car and was in boost when it died mid flight!!! it was the air flow meter.
