im here to solve the dilemma guys i swapped AFM's this morning with Cam and worked a treat. resetted the ECU and all good. thanks for all the help. would have been in the dark without Scotty and Cam.

Thanks for the help guys, I have had a good check of the piping and cooler, I believe the car is in limp mode so it's not letting me get to boost rather than it not being there, I'm swapping the afm today and will let you know how I go. Cheers

i drove it home and swapped it with my motorbike for the day. it has NO BOOST. so im guessing it is turbo/cooler related. watching the gauge it moves up but when it gets near 0 it starts to shudder. so could it be a rooted cooler?

ok well it started this morning. its idleing but the engine light is on. and it wont rev very well. the guy from nissan told me over the phone it sounds like its in "Limp Mode" but Nissan dont want a bar of it. and claim they cant help.

its at work locked up for the night. so ill try to start it again in the morning - hoping its water in the AFM. if not ill have to tow it to Nissan. ill let you know how i go scotty and if i need any parts. cheers

i am running powerduct. so whats the theory? water has gotten in and messed with the AFM? i doubt fuel pump. i can hear it when i turn the key to accessories sounds as it does always.

hey guys leaving work tonight, got in the car started fine pulled out drove 3-4 kms up the road and stopped at a red light. took off quickly to get infront of the car next to me as i was merging (definately far from drag racing) reached about 70kph and the car started to shudder and stall. it came to a stop and died. - the car starts but only lasts a few seconds, however it doesnt quite idle and just dies and you can't rev it to catch it. just dies. - it has plenty of fuel in it so it has spark, fuel, power, starter.... everything. i dont know what it could be. any thoughts or anyone experienced this? im going to tow it to Nissan tomoz as there is one close to my work. - hopefully nothing major.

i also have the same setup. i cant compare it to standard because it was in the car when i got it, but seems great to me. still very comfortable sits just right.!

do you know of this setup works in an NM35 Stagea.? looks very similar.

The gtech bangers are quite good, used to sell them and trial used one, was pretty close to the money on a friends tt 300zx we are talking about 5 years ago and have no idea what model, from memory they were about 400bucks to buy

its just like any newer model. definitely a more refined ride, but agreed with Jetwreck, if you want heaps of bolt on mods go the C34 it will be good when more people buy them and there are some decent parts available. its shitty at the moment. hopefully in 2+ years they will be even more popular and more and more aftermarket and parts at wreckers will be available.

im thinking of modifying to suit an auto stick. does anyone know if the thread on the inside is brass(metal) or simply threaded duracon (same material as the knob)
