it used to do it in my previous car (integra) when my rca was too close to the ecu. When i pulled it away, then it wouldn't make the whining noise, but when it was closer, then it would come back. Oh, and it was a very dodgy home audio install. That could also do it!

Hopefully you have a passenger, whip out the camera phone and record away! Make sure you get the number plate as well. Because not only will you see the high-beaming and tailgating, you'll hear the revving. My 2 Cents.

Not sure if this is a stupid question, but is this a worthwhile session for a GTR with the attessa system? I haven't had the car long, so I guess I just answered my own question in terms of gaining a better understanding of the car with the awd system, but other opinions would be appreciated (don't want to deter the topic too much but just one or two opinions will be fine). If worthwhile, I am definately there (dependant on availability of spots of course).

Good evening All, As of the Saturday just gone, I went to Japcar to visit Dennis and picked my new car up! Dennis was very helpful, and so far after a Christmas Hills run and many grins on my face (boosting is quite a lot of fun coming from an Integra GSI), I am in love. 1999 Nissan Skyline R33 GTR 63,000 km. Mechanical inspection prior to purchase came up with the only problem being a leaking water pump, so that was fixed along with the timing belt whilst the rocket cover was off. I am the first Australian owner and it is resprayed in Burgundy (no accidents caused the respray but it is looking very fresh when polished). Pictures will come up when I get the chance, considering I'm either at work or unwilling to leave the driver's seat! If anyone from the Templestowe area wants to have a meet and greet, I'd be more than happy to learn more about the forced induction platform (coming from N/A)!

i'll definately be there next time. I bought my 33 GTR on Saturday!

I was going to consider coming to Hobart (from Melbourne) to inspect, but as of today my agent found me a '32 GTR with most of what I asked for in my search criteria so I think this is the one.
