Any pics of this subframe area? hydraulic jack on the part under the door sill for the normal jacking point is no good! hehe If someopne could highlight it for me that would be great

Hmm something dont quite look right with the bonnet.

I've been sent a letter home from the EPA surprisingly for a reported loud exhaust, mine is pretty darn quiet. Someone must of dobbed me in. Anyways had to go to a muffler shop and get it tested. For a Skyline, the letter said it had to be revved to half the rev range, but mine said 4500rpm. Got it tested, all was under until the throttle was lifted at which point a couple of small pops set the reader over 90db.

I don't think they have any height adjustment. Probably only damper.

Agree, the only reason why you would worry about KMs is that when you want to sell it, the next buyer will worry about it too.

Hey tek! Fantastic that you have finally resolved it. I also used the red goo and maybe for 2 months the noise was gone, loved it. It is bad now though, after about 10 mins of driving, any soft application of the brakes coming to a stop (once in a while) it will screech like crazy. Did you grease the two pins that align the pads correctly? just run grease up and down them? And then grease the retaining clips, which ones are these? I am guessing those wire type clips, if so which part of them? Finally, I take it from above that you also tried rubber goo on the back of the shim so the set up is like this: piston --> GOO --> shim1 --> GOO --> shim2 --> GOO --> back of pad

Hi all Looking to get a Peugeot 307, 2005 model onwards in a 2L petrol or maybe even a diesel. They range from about 20k to 25k used. What have your experiences been with them? Are Peugeot's any good? or are they renowned for issues and expensive parts? Are they reliable? quality? Also, what would the fuel economy be like with a diesel in comparison to a petrol generally? would you get 1.5, 2, 2.5 times the distance with a diesel instead of petrol on the same car? THANKS ALL!
