  1. There are definately plenty of fakes, but they're in every country. I have some contacts there who get parts, I just need to know where. I dont mind either new or used.
  2. Hi Does anyone know where are some good places to get parts in Thailand from are? Looking for an EBC and boost gauge. Cheers all!
  3. Mine GTT wheels are for sale if anyone is interested. Check out the thread Dman, its got a pic of a 33 with the wheels. I am pretty sure you dont need spacers for them. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...T&f=12&t=113816
  4. Makes me not wanna gap my plugs from 1.1 to 0.8 What did you re-gap them to? and what gap was it at before?
  5. I am guessing your using Whiteline bushes? maybe Whiteline products are all they are cracked up to be.
  6. Thats strange, prior to my full exhaust, it was reading 0.55kg/cm. And after the exhaust, close to 1kg/cm. I dont see how a full exhaust on a cold night can make almost double the boost.
  7. Same thing is happening to me, boosting close to 1kg/cm (on my 34 GTT stock gauge). Dont know how accurate this is though. Can I electronic boost controller really control this? I always thought that the boost control was always limited to how the wastegate/actuator performs. I have no boost controller installed, just a very hi flowing exhaust. Kinda scared of blowing things up seeing as R34 turbos are very fragile, perhaps my stock boost guage is way innaccurate!?
  8. Cmon theres gotta be more people using coilovers in their car. Any help is much appreciated.
  9. Unfortunately thats your opinion, the best I can do is $700 (excl delivery). If anyone else is interested, let me know.
  10. They actually run 5k front 4k rear. Same spring rates, slightly softer valving.
  11. And they are ADR approved so supposedly legal for street use unlike the Tein Flex.
  12. Basically fulcrum import the jap spec ones, then have the bump and rebound revalved so that its softer for our roads. And they have provided a warranty on the product.
  13. Hi Just wanted to get a general feel for anyone who has coilovers in their R34 GTT or R33 GTST? 1)What brand and model are they? 2)What are the spring rates? 3)Are they noisy? 4)Is it a comfortable ride? 5)Hows the handling of the car? 6)How old are they and are they in need of repair or rebuild? Thanks all! any help at all is much appreciated!
  14. I dont know how much shipping is to Brisbane, but I think it would be at least $100. I dont mind shipping but its at the buyers expense. Also the main scratch is just a surface one, it doesnt really get into the alloy itself. But it cant be buffed out by the looks of things.
  15. Nah would much rather them as a set. Cheers
  16. http://translate.google.com/translate?u=ht...Flanguage_tools Fully adjustable, 30 setting dampening, 7k front rate and 5k rear rate for a R34. Monotube design. Supposedly these are built for the street. Has anybody used these? are they rather comfy and do well on our streets? I wonder if the good quality shocks can control the springs well enough on our streets to provide a good ride. Thanks!
  17. Yeap got one of those. Just figured if I already needed to buy new coppers, maybe Im better off getting them pre gapped, then Ill just check.
  18. Fair enough, I guess my AF ratios are gones now aye. And now that they are, it means fouling of plugs right? Well since my car will foul plugs more easily now, I guess theres no point in platinum. I was under the impression that my plugs arent being fouled so figured that platinums were a good way to go. Even coppers for an RB gapped at 0.8 are hard to come by right? self gapping it is then
  19. Are there no such iridium/platinum plugs though that come pre-gapped, I want to go for this option coz it will mean I wont have to replace my existing plugs for a long time. Common problem, thats good then, hopefully a plug change will fix it, thats IF I can find em! ahah
  20. I cannot seem to find heat range 6, 0.8mm, platinum plugs for the RB25DET NEO. I would rahter get platinums to avoid changing the plugs often, its a pain changing them on a RB. Note: boost increase to 10psi is only because of the exhaust increasing boost, I have not played with boost at all.
  21. Hi all I have a R34 GTT and have noticed a rather flat spot between 5500rpm and 6000rpm when flooring it in gear. Its not missfiring I dont think, and it doesnt pop or stutter, it simply doesnt accelerate as hard in that rev range. You feel the power kinda just drop off, but then pick up again after 6000rpm. I noticed that this has only happened since I put on the full turbo back exhaust (spit dump, cat etc). Even before I put on the pod, it was pretty much the same. Last dyno run, boost was at 10psi. boost increase to 10psi is only because of the exhaust increasing boost, I have not played with boost at all. Is this rich and retard? which is causing the flat spot? I currently have NGK copper plugs in there, gapped at 1.1mm, heat range 6. SydneyKid recommends 0.8mm gap at the same range to fix the problem. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks
