i had a similar problem when changing my spark plugs, but then it went away yeap thats pretty much it let it idle for 10 minutes den take it for a short test drive dont see why an exhaust would make any difference maybe its the apexi pod filter try the reset i rekon it might work

I dont think its the scan tool guys fault though, he is just selling the tool, doesnt mean he knows how to fix it. What have u done recently on the car that may have started this? Or did it kinda just come outta nowhere? This is a R34 right? have u tried resetting ur ECU yet?

Is the engine light on? TCS and SLIP light on as well? Does your car run okay when pushed? Usually 21 is a signal of coil pack failure, try resetting the ECU and seeing wheter it comes back?

So the hiflow cat you have seems restrictuve? Which one did you get?

Hmm thats 1 for ceramic coating and 1 for wrapping. This makes the choice harder now! hahaha You mentioned that you can feel the difference (for the worse) why is that?

Hi all Is it necessary to heat wrap the dump and front pipe? Or should I get it ceramic coated? Or neither and just leave it as mild steel? Also, is there a need for a big hi flowing cat? e.g. one of BATMBL's large body steel cats flow rated at 706cfm? Appreciate any advice or experiences from people! Thanks

Any pics of them on a R34 GTT?

I was thinking the same for my GTT. Saw pics of IanH's car with those wheels, and yeah the front stick out too much and it looked a bit wonky.

After i changed the oil, filter and plugs the sound kinda went away. dont know what thats got to do with it though Either way I replace all drive belts and now it seems sweet.

I'd be interested for a R34 GTT. Black outer, tan inner, and some tan bits for the doors.

Anyone seen the Powergetter that Bass Junky has for a R34? How loud is that? is it droney? Or any 33 owners with a powergetter?

Hmmm OK 3" cat backs in the same style, are any of you guys using them, Id say alot of people are as they are very common. Any thoughts on noise level?

Hi guys Cat back exhausts with a cannon muffler and a oval centre resonator --> will they be loud or droney? Ideally Id like to get one with an oval muffler but they are a little hard to come by. Cheers

Disconnect negative terminal of battery step on brake until no more light turn on headlights, etc anything to drain battery let it sit for a bit then reconnect battery and its resetted

Hi all I know that R33 GTST cat back exhausts can be modified by extending the cat back end of it by about 8cm. The exhaust can then be easily made to bolt on and it fits nicely (as told by a fellow forum member) Does this also apply to R34 GTR exhausts? You need to do a search for error codes If I recall correctly, 2 long flashes followed by 1 short one means 21 And 21 = iginition problems = usually coil packs? I'd say give resetting ur ECU first to see if that clears any errors, and see whether the error pops up again.
