  1. Theyll fit both R33 GTSTs and R34 GTT Not sure about GTRs but I wouldnt recommend since they have different stock spring rates
  2. Hi all I have a full set of lowered springs. They are compressed stock springs so will give you the lower ride + the comfort that you need for crappy roads. They still retain the stock spring rates. They are about 40mm down front and rear, giving a great 340mm hub to guard ride height. See pic attached of the ride height $110 in Sydney (beats paying $350 for king springs)
  3. Hi all Have a R33 GTST water pump, less than 40000kms usage $20 Water pump is in perfect condition, had to remove since I found it wasnt the right one for a R34 GTT so wanted to be sure. And a Gates Performance timing belt for a R34 GTT (so heavy duty, not blue racing one) less than 40000kms usage $20. Also in great condition, no cracks no nothing. Changed it while I was changing to water pump. Postage can be via express post for about $7.

  5. Hi all Does anyone know how to get all 4 rear lights lit up when braking? I heard it's possible, however the brake light bulbs are easily blown if not done correctly, especially if the parking lights are on. Is there a guide on how to do this properly? Thanks
  6. Hey Denis, stock R34 rates are like 2.8k front and rear. Kings will be around the 3.1k mark
  7. Looked at my old water pump that I replaced 35000kms ago when I bought the car - its the R34 GTT specific one. Hmmmz looks like I have to go with the same one to be on the safe side! damn why does Nissan want $240 for it! VL ones are $80!
  8. I think I know what the go is.... From right to left 1) RB20DET engine, they can only be used on a RB20 series engines, the top hole is not slotted and is slightly offset so it doesnt seem to fit other RB's. Part# 21010-70TY5 2) R34 RB25DET NEO engine, this is also one of those pumps that fits the RB25DET, again, fitment on other RB doesnt seem feasable as the hole is not slotted and is slightly offset towards the left. The casting design seems slightly different as well, it seems to look slightly shallower then the other models. Part# 21010-AA527 3) Standard RB26DETT and R33 RB25DET, this one is able to fit on any RB series engines ranging from RB20DE, RB25DE, RB20DET, RB25DET, and RB26DETT of all series. This one has the hole slotted to fit multitudes of RB engines, this is ok to use on any RB engine. Part# 21010-21U26 4) RB26DETT N1 specification engine, this one fits the same as the one above, it fits all RB engines of all series, but what makes this pump special is the anti-cavitational 6 blade impeller instead of the others that have a 8 blade non backing plate designs. This pump originates from the Skyline R34 N1 models, this is a ideal upgrade for those guys who like to wind up the RB since this limits the coolant caviation to a minimum. Part# 21010-24U27 I think the previous person who changed mine used 3), the standard R33 one or a VL one - which both have an elongated or slotted hole The guy who provided the above info said For those of you that install the RB pumps with the slotted holes 3) and 4), you must be very careful applying the silicone sealant around the slotted hole. If not enough is applied it will start to leak around that area as the surface area for sealing is very small. Pay particular attention to that slotted area when installing! This is because on some cars, the bolt that goes through that elongatedor slotted hole doesnt actually fit in. Hence, if you dont carefully put enough sealant there, or its not done right, it will leak. In my car, looks like it is leaking there. 9. Hi Has anyone fitted a VL RB30 water pump to a R34 GTT (RB25DET NEO) without any dramas in terms of performance, reliability and cooling? Reason I ask is that there is about a $160 price difference in the two and I have heard mix stories about them. All I know is that one bolt hole does not line up, and eveyrone has installed it without that bolt in there. Thanks
  10. Off the car, I can push the rod all the way down to the bottom, in about 5 seconds using my weight and strength. It slowly return back up, very slowly.
  11. You mean if more than 5 years, its stuffed? That makes it easy then. On a separate note, what about Bilsteins shocks - if they are 5-6 years, would they also be stuffed? maybe 60k kms on them
  12. I heard for modern day cars this test does not necessarily prove much Plus, shocks are off the car now =( so a little difficult. Thanks though
  13. Nope no leaks or oil anywhere to be seen. Dry as!
  14. Hi all I have my factory shocks currently off the car, how can you tell whether they are worn or are still in good shape?
  15. any idea what these plastic runners look like and which ones
  16. am interested in the lights as well - supposedly some extra stuff needs to be done to avoid blowing the bulbs prematurely
  17. I've had the same happen, I have a feeling someone dobbed me in (im in NSW)
  18. I think they look like this
  19. So does nayone know whether these ones are adjustable or not?
