Changed my O2 sensor to use the Ford EL plug and sensor (NGK branded) as the car is at 70000k now Noticed slightly more fuel usage, but ran the check, and got 9-10 flashes every 10 seconds. Hmm No other error codes, was clean with 55 status

I would make a judgment on the track, but I HARDLY SAW IT The footage of the cars doing their hot lap on the track was appauling. All you saw was the inside of the car + stig, then car on a straight, then car + stig again, then straight again. I couldnt really make out what the track looked like. Also, there were a couple scenes of the Porsche where they blurred in and out on the bumper of the car, did anyone's eyes get all funny? who needs to blur in and out of a bumper 6 times straight! haha Other than not bad, always improvements to come. Agree with points about the Lambo + "cap in yo ass" (cringe worthy indeed) I'm still going to watch it though haha i still have faith in it

I have heard otherwise from other sources. Can Gary/Matt confirm this? Are the shocks delivered these days from Germany already valved to your specs? just simply circlip grooved here? I understand that a few years back they used to get revavled here in Australia when delivered from Germany. However, now all Bilstein R34 (and probably most Skyline ones) shocks sold in Australia come valved to your specs as they come in.
-
You mean they won't send SK his shock order as it is not big enough? Then does that mean all Bilstein Skyline shocks come with SK's specs from Germany? even though they may not be sold through SK? e.g. through other Bilstein suppliers such as Fulcrum/Quadrant/Heasmans?

Hi all Got some stickers that I had made in recent trips overseas. Dont quite know why I had them all made up, most have gone on the toolbox/laptop etc haha Note: this is not a trader sale! Here they are: The $10 ones 2 x white Mines (about 23x10cm) 2 x black Mines (about 23x10cm) 1 x white Greddy logo with dial around the G (15x7.5cm) 1 x chrome Greddy logo with dial around the G (15x7.5cm) 1 x Nismo logo (with red circle) (30x4cm) 1 x glossy grey TEIN logo that says 'technical innovation' with dampachi doll (18x5cm) 4 x GTR emblems with chrome GT and chrome outline (8x6cm) 1 x black running writing Nismo (13x4.5cm) 2 x chrome running writing Nismo (13x4.5cm) 1 x black HKS logo (12x5cm) The $5 ones 1 x white Greddy logo with dial around the G (9x5cm) 1 x chrome Greddy logo with dial around the G (9x5cm) 1 x white standard Nismo logo (13x2cm) 1 x chrome standard Nismo logo, chrome O as well (8.5x1.5cm) 1 x chrome Trust logo (9x1.5cm) 1 x white Trust logo (9x1.5cm) 1 x chrome Trust logo (15x2cm) 1 x black Trust logo (15x2cm) 3 x Nismo logo with red circle (5x1cm) 2 x white Mine’s (9x4.5cm) I have sold some of the others and hence they arent listed above even though they are in the pictures. Note: the Mine's one with the black background is not for sale, the picture of the bottom one and ones like it are. They have masking tape on the top of them, so all you need to do is peel the masking tape off (sticker comes off with it), then stick it wherever you want on the car, then pull the masking tape off slowly and hey presto! In Sydney and can post easily. Can give a discount for bulk buys. Thanks

How Do You Guys Keep The Fog Away?
nuffsaid replied to charlieR34's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Absolutely agree with everything Merli said Keep it very clean, and you are less likely to have the problem. Also the RainEx AntiFog stuff is crap as mentioned, I put it on, then took it all off again, just became smeared everywhere. It is also about keeping the inside of the car dry where possible. So leave umbrellas etc in the boot and anything else that is wet. I occasionally put a tub of those moisture absorbing things in the car overnight over a few days. It sucks up all the moisture in the air and converts it to water in a tub. You can buy it from the supermarket. It helps, especially when the air is very humid in the car, and moisture is attached to your carpet, seats etc. -
Sway Bars And Their Effect On Ride Comfort
nuffsaid replied to nuffsaid's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Good point, on stock suspension maybe its more noticeable. As an overall package with some shocks+springs the effect may be less. Bushes were fine, I wouldnt expect a lack of grease to cause resistance in the movement of the bar against the bush though, itll just be noisier. PS: it is all by the 'seat of pants' feel which is quite different for everyone. Some people will think there is no difference -

Haha keeping them for now sorry, just in case the car becomes less of a daily and more of a dedicated weekend type car. -
Bilsteins On A R34 Gtt With Stock Springs?
nuffsaid replied to nuffsaid's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Yeap that all makes sense. When lowering the car on stock springs and circlips and possibly achieving a height of 346/336mm (assuming the springs sit at 370/350mm already)...does that mean that the car will be hitting the bump stops very often even if trimmed due to the low spring rates? And back to the original question... Are the Bilsteins be better matched to the stock OEM feel lowered with - stock springs - or Whiteline springs? (both achieve a decent height change, but would of course drive very differently?) -
