Hey, just an update - my boyfriend noticed that when you push the button for the trip meter reset (in the middle of the cluster) it started working. So he pulled the cluster out today for me and tightened the screws at the back of the speedo and also unplugged and replugged the wires just in case they were loose. It hasn't stuffed up again so far but if it does, does anyone have any pointers on what in the cluster has to be tightened or whatever? Thanks!!

Hi, I have recently started having a problem with my series 2 R33. Sometimes the speedo does not work when the car is first started, and then after a few minutes of driving it will just start working. But sometimes it does work straight away – it's very intermittent. I have read through the forums and have found some people have had this problem and when they have it they also have an issue with the hicas light and power steering, but I don't have this problem, it's only the speedo which is intermittently not working. Has anyone had this issue before? Do you think it's a problem with the wiring at the back of the cluster or is it more than likely the sensor? If so – which sensor is it on the gear box? Would anyone happen to have a picture or a diagram? Thanks.

Hi, im looking at buying a non turbo r33. I have been told that the air con works, but the heater doesn't. In the engine I have seen that this pipe part (circled in the picture) does not connect to anything. Any ideas what it should be connected to? If its unrelated what could cause this problem? Also, any ideas how much this would cost to fix? Thank you!
