  1. Mustang turbo 4? Would give it some cred. Then again ford are pulling out... So maybe not.
  2. I Like the do-rifto at the end!! Tyres seem to be well tortured.
  3. Nice, but I'd want to tick all the option boxes pushing the price up ... Very nice looking car.
  4. What about pics of tool organisation? I'm trying to come up with ideas of how best to setup my new tool shed. Hang em all up? Put em in a tool drawer? What about bigger stuff? And the odd one off stuff/tools? How to store/ organise power tools?
  5. I predict they'll be printing food (think star trek). "Computer, give me a burger with the lot". It would certainly deal with predicted food shortages. They could use proteins, fillers and nutrients to 'make' food.
  6. Hate to say that I reckon the ST was quicker in the twisties than my modded R32 GTR. It has more useable power down low due to being lighter. It surprised the hell outta me, being a RWD 6 cyl traditionalist.
  7. Oh, and apparently Ford are testing this stuff : http://www.mountune.com/index.php/services/performance-upgrades/focus/focus-st-2012-onward Spend the extra $10k budget and have a rocket....
  8. Had the same thoughts and ended up buying a Focus ST. It was under $40k and was a great understated performance car. It has 4 doors and it goes and handles really well. Being a RWD devotee it surprised me how well it handles. It's a tiny bit cramped but overall it's a good all round package. The only major downer is the torque steer, it really really really annoys me. Drove the megane but back then it was a lot more expensive. These days the pricing is a LOT more competitive to match the Focus ST. down side is only 2 doors. Upside is LSD and a bit classier interior. Personally I found the ST to be an easier car to drive, get thru gears and is a less harsh ride than the Megane. Cos I do lots of k's and have a new addition to the family the 4 doors and softer ride on the ST was a good compromise over the LSD on the Megane.
  9. ??how to make?
  10. I know Russman has a large decent quality one on his car, and covered it a bit on his track car build.
  11. Ah ok will pull the std seat out and have a look this weekend! Thanks.
  12. What did you do for seat rails? I'm using the wife's track car while I regain patience (and a bank balance) with the r33 boat. So I want to put a decent seat in her car.
  13. I used to have the WG/J V8 and was in the 'old Jeep' category. Reckon (believe it or not) the Fiat ownership improved build quality immensely. The new one is a million times better.
  14. I paid just under $500 for a 60k service on my Jeep Grand wk2 (current shape, but doesn't have LED head lights). Oils and filters cost the most. I can't complain about it's reliability. This is my second WK2(I do heaps of k's) and both have been very reliable and awesome fuel efficient tow car.
  15. I'd try another battery. Trickle charging a faulty battery is a waste of time.
  16. Thanks guys !
  17. Did a search and saw enough conflicting information... Can someone please confirm the flange type for a stock turbo from an r34 GTR?
  18. What kind of distances are you traveling? Terrain? Driving style (lead foot?). Those 'fuel' like running costs are pretty impressive. Obviously excludes other running costs.
  19. Just to clarify they have dampening adjustment (not height).
  20. Item: Apexi adjustable coil overs from R33 GTST S1 Price: $500 (shipping at buyers expense) Location: Victoria, South Melb or Kinglake Contact: Via PM or phone 0401-994-746
  21. Performance car audio Bayswater North. http://www.performancecaraudio.com.au/ My track car sponsor is across the carpark from him (thewheeldeal).
  22. Ooh sounds like a project that I'd start and never finish - ending up in a car that doesn't work! I know enough about electronics to get into trouble... I admire your skillzzzzz
  23. I had a substantial piece of the water pump snap off underneath the shaft. I was freaked out too. Timing belt was replaced months ago. So yeah, I believe it. Looked like the casting had a hairline crack.
  24. I just built my own sheds. I'm in kinglake Vic.
  25. Great morning. Good to get back into it!
