  1. you have no idea that you wont get caught doing a skid. saying your not stupid enough to get caught is just showing your ignorance just like through this entire thread. a mufti police car about 4 or 5 cars behind saw the skid. and didnt pull the car up. only came around later that night and asked who was driving the car. one day it will happen to you when you least expect it, like my situation. and a skyline is about the slowest car you could buy to go fast. a gtr would be excusable but when other cars in the skylines category come into play like the wrx evo 1jz supra then the skyline is the slowest out of all of them. yes the skyline has a pure sound and does look good so il give you that. but anyway no one has givin me any ACTUAL reason for why im coping flack on here. and what do you mean by calling the shots?
  2. haha you guys really are a bunch of idiots arnt you? for one i never said anyone was wrong. please do tell me where i wrote " no your wrong" somewhere. thanks. secondly i asked a question and only 1 person kindly advised me to go to the tuner. there are a few other people that suggested problems for why my car wont go faster and thanks for that. thirdly this trozzle guy sounds pretty old and i personally find it funny that he gives me sh*t for loosing traction for 3 seconds. why do you own a skyline? owning a 2.5 litre turbo rwd just to go fast in it? i dont think so. go and buy something thats been made to go fast. i guarantee you have done a lot more skids on the street then i have or you would own a 4wd turbo. the amount of arguing that goes on for no reason is insane, just like someone already has kindly pointed out to everyone. the questions ive asked havnt been stupid questions. someone please point out the stupid questions for everyone.

  4. ohhhh you think im a sack who cant handle a car. never had a crash drifting. never lost control of a car. only on the track have i spun my skyline out. and that was once. and i never went off the track. drivin much faster cars then mine a lot better then their owners. so you meaning i cant handle a car orrrrrr i shouldnt be boosting on the road?
  5. cop saw my car doin a snakey in second. didnt get the driver tho coz he didnt pull the car up. so might be able to get off it. cops here are stupidly insane on cars like mine because of all the boyracer crap thats happened over here. so they see 2 seconds of action, car gets taken away, licence and all your money pretty much. and glad i didnt get the chance to make it faster? whys that?
  6. so my car is in impound and i might loose my licence. might keep the car might not depending on how much its gona cost in court and if i keep licence or not. i wanted the exact info i got from the tuner when i went in and got it tested. then i said in this thread exactly what i was gona do. theres no need to carry on about ecu's or whatever because i found the problems for why my car wouldnt go faster. and it is because of the o2 sensor that im burning up so much fuel especially when im not on full throttle and getting barely any power out of it. since when do people drive around on full throttle non stop? i want my car to perform under whatever acceleration not just at full throttle. but i have way bigger problems now so i might re name this thread 'a symptom of r&r' or something like that. and btw the full mods on my car are as stated above for the engine and lowered on new bilstien shocks with new cobra springs and 17inch 215 's with a heap of tread on them which are pretty grippy. standard 4 pot and 2 pot brakes mines ecu is absolutely fine as i stated before the basic map for it is tuned better then the standard ecu.

  8. im taking all this advise in mate what have i said that tells you i havnt listened? what would explain ( on the standard ecu running 7 psi on the boost t ) at full throttle until it hits 7psi it fully retards the engine and doesnt pull at all? change the boost to any psi and its always the same.

  11. thats fantastic advise thanks mate. i went back to fully standard engine not to long ago for a track day. result was much slower but no problems except it spiked up to about 9 and a half psi. i put the boost t in and set it to the same boost as standard. it hit boost alot quicker and spiked about the same. but i will fix these things as i already have the parts and if nothing changes i will go back to standard and work from there. cheers man
  12. i didnt mean the things people were saying about the ecu is bulsh*t i meant i dont wana know if the ecu is bad or not. i wana find out whats wrong with the engine or i would have said is the ecu crap or not. ive turned the boost back to about 8 or 9 psi and goes alright sometimes on that. but r&r on full throttle until it reaches the set boost so theres a mixture of problems in my engine. which all adds up coz the o2 sensor and knock sensors are faulty.
  13. ive got a brand new o2 sensor so will put it in on sat. and the knock sensor was reading it knocking all the time as well so thats why it could be sending it into r&r. il just fix these things and see what happens because im getting barely 280km to a full tank of 98 not boosting much so something is wrong. if these dont change anything then i will sell the ecu and get something else obviously. and my coils were new about 4 months ago and they are heavy duty ones that are in my mates 25det 32 pulling about 250kw. might try his coils and see what happens so can find out if mine are faulty or not. i havnt ignored anyones points of view about anything im just hearing totally different things over here compared to oz. the tuner said the mines will work fine because the standard map was fine. but the real time map was r&r all over the place. so he showed me what it should be doing compared to what its actually doing.
  14. so just read everything again and there are 3 helpfull people at max. the rest is bulsh*t about changing the ecu. and the guy from nzefi should be good. or he wouldnt have a job. look up the website http://www.nzefi.com/home/
  15. sorry that was meant to be in here. it wasnt the nissan diagnostic tool it was a programme to tune the cars. he put up all the real time sensors and had a look. it came up with a faulty o2 sensor and the knock guage wasnt working properly. he also checked all the maps and everything was fine except it showed a hell of alot of r&r. so the base map for the ecu is absolutely fine for the car.
