  1. I have these exact rims in 18x12 and 18x13 in a -8 offset... they are in my opinion the hottest wheels out there Good luck with your sale man, they are a quality product.

  5. Oh I didn't mean it was the only Dan Murphy's around... I just didnt know if other branches had the same prices or it was just that particular one... all I know is I refuse to buy alcohol anywhere else coz Uncle Dan is the MAN!
  6. Asking this on behalf of a friend and fellow user of another forum. Recently completed RB20 Swap... just a straight swap as he blew his other one, DET Auto exactly the same engine as before and all runnign components just used a different block n head basically. Car will crank over happily but will not fire, plenty of fuel, plenty of spark. List of things tried so far: Replaced Ignitor Replaced CAS Replaced Injectors Replaced & Checked Coils and Plugs Replaced Loom & Injector Loom Checked Compression Replaced every fuse and every relay ECU says Nil Errors (Code 55) Replaced Inlet Manifold Gasket and Throttle Body Checked Timing (spot on) The thing has no intercooler pipes on it, meaning no AFM, so dont expect it to idle but it wont even fire or try to fire, just free spins. Plenty of fuel getting to the engine so its not the fuel pump either. TPS or 02 Sensor? But I thought it would at least fire even if they were borked. Im stumped, advised him to go get a proper diag on it as im out of ideas but thought you guys may be able to point out something we have missed. Cheers, James.
  7. Is the bottom end utilising standard rb30 pistons, rods etc If so RB30E or RB30ET (need to know for compression difference) What kind of head, 25DE, 25DET, 26DET? What other components, Headgasket, type and thickness etc. Any details you have would be appreciated along with a ballpark figure
  8. http://www.bn-sports.co.jp/2door/32_skyline_blister.html Anyone know what wing that is, where I can get it, how much it is etc. Ive looked at uras, cusco, and a heap of others and cant find that one, I cant find it listed ANYWHERE on the BN Sports site, and I cant speak or write japanese to send them an email and find out, hoping someone here can give me a definite answer coz i want that wing. - James.
  9. Gold Coasters dont need this kind of site... Uncle Dan always looks after us. Dan Murphy's @ Nerang, cheapest piss anywhere on the coast guarantee'd, I have researched this thoroughly believe me
  10. Very well said, just to expand a little on one areas I think is all too often overlooked. Reliability: Radiator - Upgrade your stock radiator, in most cases they are single core pieces of crap. Oil Cooler - Obtain one immediately people dont realise the difference in temperature between normal driving and track conditions, especially when your car is being driven hard for extended periods. Good Quality Consumeables - Engine Oil, Spark Plugs, Coolant, Gearbox & Diff Oil, Brake Fluid, Clutch Fluid, Brake Pads, Air Filters etc. So many times I have seen ppl leave the track with their tail in between their legs and their wallets feeling a lot lighter because they skimp on the simplest stuff. Its imperative to use good quality components if you expect your vehicle to hold up. NB: Reliability and Safety are the MOST IMPORTANT parts of your car, its all well n good to have a track weapon, but its no fun if it blows up every 3rd track event or kills you the first tiem you make a mistake (and you will eventually).
  11. There are 4 - 6 bolts (cant remember exactly) along the top of the guard under the bonnet. 2 Underneath the door at the bottom corner and from memory two inside the door near the hinges. However you dont have to take the door off to get them, open the door all the way up and in the gap created where the hinges are you should see 1 bolt at the top and 1 at the bottom you can get an open ended spanner onto. Undo all them and slide the guard forward and then angle it and pull so you can get the little tabs out form inside where the door hinges are. You need to remove your front bar and pop the bonnet thats about it though Oh almost forgot pretty sure the headlights bolt into a little bracket at the front too you may need to remove them, i know for sure the indicators do on an R32 I cant remember exactly on an R33 its been a while.
  12. Thats pretty much spot on what I have followed for all of the rebuilt engines I have handled in my time and never had any problems.
  13. Will the door seals be a full kit that trace up aroudn the mirrors etc? If so count me in.
  14. I reckon we should have a competition... 2 x 500hp+ RB25's on limiter Excuse me ill jsut go get a towell
  15. If you have the cash I definitely recommend using house of kolor candy coats. We have a 1963 Buick Riviera with a $13000 paint job, crazy application method by a hotrod painter though. Silver Base Coat to make it reflective. Black Over the silver base Chilli Candy Over the Black Eggplant Candy Over that Chilli Candy Mixed with Clear Eggplant Candy Mixed with Clear Clear. End Result is a paintjob that looks unique from every angle. Thats straight off teh gun unbuffed etc... never seen a black paintjob that looks so good, and not just saying that coz its ours. http://www.restoredclassics.com.au/ http://www.restoredclassics.com.au/update.html http://www.restoredclassics.com.au/update2.html http://www.restoredclassics.com.au/update3.html Links to details on the build for those who are interested car is nearing completion... never liked yank tanks til me and my old man restored this thing.
  16. Anyone? I'd really like to find this out if possible.
  17. Mine isnt as pretty but serves a purpose hehe Just an insert in front of the standard dash with cutouts in which to mount the guages, works a treat.
  18. Im pretty sure this will only bolt up to a non-hicas cradle. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/S13-S14-S15-R32-Low...7QQcmdZViewItem And after checking there, i was right... not sure if that means non-hicas cars as in, non hicas cradle, or if having a lock bar to disable hicas would be enough. Might be worth messaging roguepi on ebay and sussing it out for some clarifitcation.
  19. Chasing a GTR Grille if you have one.
  20. I'd rather not publicize my personal experiences but lets just say its well worth your time and effort, the system does work if you know how to use it. Commissioner of Police Police Headquarters 100 Roma Street BRISBANE QLD 4000 There ya go
  21. PREACH! I been here since midnight only 1 hour and 41 minutes to go... not that im counting or anything
  22. Im aware that the RB26DETT was produced with Inner-Cast Bracing (aka webbing) for greater internal strength. Real quick question: Was the RB26DETT the only of the RB Series Engines to receive this attention, or do the 20's and 25's also have it? I know the RB30E/T's don't was wondering about the other two. Cheers, James
  23. High flow the standard turbo and they can handle around 450hp. With those kind of supporting mods, a moderate boost level and a decent yet safe tune you could see upwards of 350rwhp pretty comfortably without having to change a thing. http://www.gcg.com.au/Catalogue_Menus/Upgr...pgrade_gtst.htm Check out that link for further information, theres always a couple for sale second hand floating around the forums just keep your eye out.
