HI! I just sent you PM. I have 2 sets of new GTR rims. Don't need your others, so you can sell them... Thanks man...

I just read a post by someone asking for a discount, so I thought I'd add my 2c... Simple saying - pay peanuts, get monkeys. Do you ask a Doctor, Accountant or Dentist for a discount??? If you try to tell a competent professional that there knowledge, experience & expertise are not worth paying for, you won't get a good response. You can always get a bargin from the back yard boys... Just don't expect your car to run too well... Details are: Gavin Wood Auto Tech 1/23 Gibbs St Labrador 4215 Ph: 5529 2313 Hope this helps...

SWOOP is still for Sale - R34 GTR V Spec
supahiro27 replied to swoop's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
Man, awesome looking car!!! Have seen many worse looking R34's. Looks like excellent value!!!! I know what you mean, some people just don't understand the value and rarity, especially of a V Spec. Good Luck with the sale, I am sure patience will see the money your car really deserves -
Totally, I am 100% with Rezz. I lived in Japan for a while and learnt Nihongo pretty quickly, but that is because I was tough on myself and only hung out with native Japanese speakers and learnt Kanji everyday. Easy to get in the foreigner groove and loose focus, but when you get it going, it is really awesome to be drinking and having a blast with locals. Be persistent!!! my 2c

So do you have all the other parts you need??? Let me know if you need parts... Have suspension and airbox here as well as other assorted goodies for other GTRs... I have a spare black one here too!!!! ;p Usually, delays are inevitable. Always happens... All in all, expect another 6 weeks before you are driving it... email me if you want more info. Thx

Sequential shifter converter - Interested???
supahiro27 replied to supahiro27's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Usuckpoo (interesting call) you are just not seeing this are you? If you actually read the text on my posts, you might understand what I am saying?? Seems like Ureallydosuckpoo as you are making a bit of a dick of yourself. I'm not going to be the source of your cheap entertainment. I have more important things to do. This post was a simple espression of interest, nothing more. For the record, I own 4 companies and don't suffer fools well. So as a matter of fact, I DO have a real GTR V-Spec, so don't patronise me. Now, for everyone else who's had something useful to say (that is every contributor to the post except Mr Poo), thank you for your honest points of view and thoughts. I do greatly appreciate your time experience. -
Sequential shifter converter - Interested???
supahiro27 replied to supahiro27's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Information just to hand... "The shifter is comprised of a set of guides. What happens is you engage the device and it sets down a guide 1st through 4th gear. Once you disengage the mod you drive normally. It is not a true sequential shifter in the forwards to back pattern. For that you'll need a true (and expensive) sequential shifter which is very costly. The adaptor works really well and since installing it I've never missed a gear while drag racing." Waiting on more info & pics, that I will poston receipt -
Sequential shifter converter - Interested???

Yeah, I see your point, but if someone doesn't like the novelty factor, why do they buy a turbo car and put mag wheels, exhaust, BOVs etc on it??? Sure, there is the performance aspect, but don't these cars go fast enough?? I personally don't like the paddle shifters in the Ferrari's, but people buy them. Why do R34's have this feature on the steering wheel?? "BECAUSE PEOPLE WANT IT". Everyone in real life I have mentioned it to has gone "cool, I'd buy one!!" Looks like most of those people like that novelty factor - otherwise they'd all be driving 3 speed auto corollas that get them from A to B, wouldn't they?? -
Sequential shifter converter - Interested???
supahiro27 replied to supahiro27's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Not sure as I have not yet heard back from the Manufacturer, but I bank on a "yes" at the moment. Mainly as it is a modification of the stock box. But STAY TUNED, as I will post more info as soon as I get it. -
Sequential shifter converter - Interested???
supahiro27 replied to supahiro27's topic in General Automotive Discussion
The Ikeya looks like puss, I have to say, but it is not the one I have been told about. I can get the Holingers for $18k, and HKS for even less. I've heard about an adaptor and is fitted to the standard shifter with out the ugly mods of the Ikeya product. Still waiting for info to come to me, but it is selling really well in the USA to Supra owners for about $500 US + fitting. Apparently there is a locating dial placed around the shifter that is twisted to choose either standard "H" pattern, sequential or Drag shifting. I am trying to wrap my mind around how it actually does this, but I willpost more info as soon as it comes to hand. -
Hi all!! I just found out about an adaptor kit that changes a standard H box to sequential. I have emailed the manufacturer and am waiting for more info on costs, availability etc, but just wondering a) if anyone has heard about these things, and B) If I can get them at the right price, who'd be interested??? Thanks

R33 GTR V-Spec full Nismo everything!!!!
supahiro27 replied to supahiro27's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
Sure man!! Will be happy to help out - just takes some patience and knowing the right people. Theoretically, should take about 5 weeks from winning at auction to registering the car, but there are several hurdles that usually pop up, blowing the time out to about 8 weeks - unless we are lucky. I am probably going to Japan on biz again at the end of feb, so I will keep my eye out for you. -
$17k cash - what will it get me in an r33?
supahiro27 replied to spdrcr's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Yeah, it really depends on milage you'll be happy with. I have a pristine 93 M spec with 36,000 genuine klms (I have Japanese service history) and other proof to verify this. really nice 17 inch wheels, trust boost controller, pod, pillar gauges, timer, alarm etc... Considering other 93's with nearly 100,000 k's are going for near $20 with less parts, I am confident that mine is worth $22??? or there abouts. Like I said in another post, you get what you pay for!!! I 120% agree with Predator - pay peanuts and you get monkeys... Learn this lesson with clothes and food, not cars - can be very expensive... and dangerous!!! -
Yeah, (Hi Zac - Adam here) New plates are Purple, old plates under old scheme are Green. All R34's you would have seen would have been brought in b4 May 7th 2003 - unless personal imports, but that is doubtful as it is EXTREMELY difficult to get import approval for a personal.

state of importing 2004
supahiro27 replied to redline2003's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
Guys, you always get what you pay for. IE you pay crap, you get crap. When I picked up a car at the wharf, there was this guy who got a 93 Supra TT really cheap (650,000 yen FOB). Infortuneately for him, the car is more than likely going to be rejected for Compliance as the chassis was warped from a big crash and bad repair, drivers door would not shut, turbos were VERY cooked (all piping was very badly melted) the list goes on and on. He, like many others, bought it thru a broker in Japan and was basically not told the problems... So, if you don't have a good person in Japan (Like myself or Mick at SVI) who can actually inspect the car thoroughly BEFORE the auction, you may be in for an expensive problem, and the car may still have to be exported or destroyed... A decent 94 GTST will cost about 500,000 yen at auction plus auction fees and freight etc - then you have $4500 + tyres+GST for compliance, +$700 for rego etc, so you are quickly heading up to the $20 mark. Add insurance, a stereo, wheels and exhaust and you are near $25k. So these guys who are saying they can get cars for 10k, they are not on this world - otherwise they are ripping you off. A decent R33 half cut still sells for $6000!!! Hope these words from someone who has alreads experienced some of the darker sides of import cars has helped... -

R33 GTR V-Spec full Nismo everything!!!!
supahiro27 replied to supahiro27's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
If I told you that - I'd have to kill you!!! (did someone mention spacers??? :0) Looks AWESOME though!!! hehehe!! As rear guards are wider, the bigger tyres "fill up" the gap at the back, so the car looks better on the road. As you probably already know, GTRs have wider guards at the front and back, so the fatter tyres fit in no probs. Unless you have your GTST guards rolled out, that is... The other thing that helps is having in 18x8.5 on the front and 18x9.5 on the back, thus allowing wider tyres to be fitted. I'll take a pic from behind and post it tomorrow. -

pics sent!! Thanks -
no probs. Unfortunately, they have to be brand new, aust .... (wank wank) tyres. DOTARs make the rules... Totally shit, but the RAW needs to have a receipt for new parts WHEN (not if) they are audited. Tell me that you already have your Import approval!!! If you don't have it, you may be in for some troubles... Officially you need to have import approval thru the RAW before the car leaves Japan, other with you risk it being either destroyed or re exported at your cost. If you are lucky, you will be able to store it for up to 10 days before being exported at a cost of about $60 per day. Also, if you have parts in the car (inner cargo) don't expect it to be there when it gets here as the last 3 cars I imported have had parts stolen (the last one had a HKS GT2535 stolen !! aarrgghh!!! cost me $2500!!! Now it is gone and not likely to be insured... Next time I will use a full container. More expensive, but worth the security. Anyway, good luck and I know how you feel!! The next 2 weeks will feel like an eternity!!! PS, more than likely that your complier will have serious delays - you will be lucky to get it within 4 weeks from when you take it to the workshop... Sorry for that, but better I tell you than you get really pissed off... GL
