  1. the head has not been ported yet.. it will be ported soon... but i have to select my cam before porting i dont want lifts of 10 ish mm.. because of piston to valve clearances i know i can't use hks step 2 cams because it requires pistons with relief for the valves... so i assume that any other cams with 10ish mm lift will have problems with valve to piston clearance.. that's why i want to keep lifts in the 9ish range.. today i saw kelford L-182B cams... 272 duration.. 8.90 and 8.95 lift.. now i'm leaning more towards the kelfords
  2. i have the following setup on my rb26dett: forged pistons arp rod bolts JUN oilpump JUN crank collar ati damper ARP main bolts tomei oil restrictor tomei baffleplate arp head studs P&P head 1mm oversize supertech valves garrett gt2860-5 turbos greddy intake plenum 1000cc injectors etc... etc... my question is what cam is best suited for me? i was thinking on hks 272 step1 or poncam B cams i don't want to machine head for clearance for cams with more then 9.15 lift.. i will be putting valve springs and retainers also.. I want to be able to have a powerband till 9000 rpms.. what's the best cam for my setup?

  7. i was looking at some steel braided water and oil lines that they sell on ebay for the rb26dett.. i want to buy this for making uninstall and install of turbo's easier.. what i still cant understand is from where to where exacly will these lines replace? for the oil lines.. will it replace from block till turbo directly? or from block to the adapter that is bolted at the turbo with the 2 10mm bolts? the water lines.. will it replace from block till turbo directly? or from block to the adapter? and then from turbo directly to the hard pipe that runs above the turbo manifold and along the head? or will it replace the full water hard pipes that run along the head? anyone have pictures of these lines fitted? thanks in advance

  10. with my experience when i do a compresion test on rb25 i get around 180 psi with standard pistons... compare your compresion test numbers with other people... i think you might have problems with piston rings
  11. i'm new here so i can't send PM... I've send you an e-mail
