  1. nice, im not quite seeing why everybody is saying you need to buy 1500-2000 dollar mani´s when it looks like the xs power one works. I know the other ones are much better quality etc. But you can almost do a whole fuel system for what you save by getting the XS power one. what about the OBX manifold ? anyone ? here are pics of the xs power mani and here is the OBX manifold
  2. nice, post up some results when you have installed everything
  3. well i live in Iceland and im trying to keep some costs down if possible. Its costs very much to import car parts here and the damn depression didnt help. Our currency went to shit in 1 year. So everything now costs twice as much as it did 2 years ago and it wasnt even that good back then lol. one guy on gtr.co.uk replied , he has the xs power manifold
  4. I have a R32 GT-R and ive been trying to read about the top mount XS power and OBX manifolds both on gtr.co.uk and Supraforums. Seems like people who have braced them dont have much problems with them, some have cracked and needed to be rewelded and some needed to have the bolt holes opened up with a drill to allow fitment. But for the price i dont mind if i have to improve them a bit. Anybody here that can comment on how they worked for them, here is the XS power Version 2 / $258.00 US Dollars XS power vers 2 manifold link to the OBX one / $315.00 US Dollars OBX Manifold mainly need to know if a T4 Precision Billet 6765 with a 1.15 a/r will fit it or maybe a GT4202 with a 1.15 a/r, so hopefully someone with a similar sized turbo can chime in good or bad results, just want to get some info. And maybe state if you braced the manifold, what size turbo and if something went wrong what was the problem exactly btw i posted on gtr.co.uk also
  5. going to quote my post again 1147 rwhp(855 kw) with Eagle rods in a Supra(2JZ-GTE) so they are not rubbish it seems Pauter rods have held up well, at least in the Supra world I would think the Carillo H-Beam Rods are the strongest ones you can find. Multiple 1400+whp(1000+kw) Supras that use them like SW with is record setting 6speed manual Supra 7.91 @ 189 mph in the 1/4 mile and 246.2 mph(396.2 kph) in a standing mile. Stock gearbox, stock axels and stock rear/TRD LSD, IRS btw Amit Bhaktas Supra 1722 whp( 1284 kw) and it did 243.67 mph(392 kph) in a standing mile *Tommy bahn / ABM Supra has done 247.7 mph(398.6 kph) in a standing mile WOTM// Ryan Woon used them also in his 6spd Supra [email protected] Darin @ Titan used them when he was going 8.38@174mph and i could go on and on since all the quickest/fastest Supras seem to use Carillo H beam ......Carillo H beam = the way to go if you want the strongest i think.
  6. i wouldnd go that far, here is a Supra on E85 putting down 1147 rwhp/822lbs/ft(1115Nm) @ 2.8 bar boost with eagle rods on that day they did about 50 pulls. 30 of them were in the 1000whp+ area.
  7. yeah im not a PT rep. I was just surprised that people arent taking advantage of the prices and quality of the Precision turbos I was just taking info and prices from a Supra /Nissan 350z / Nissan R35 GTR shop in the states. You can probably talk to them about it, here is a link to their turbo section on their site Sound Performance SPracingonline.com/turbos for example they have these Compressor Cover options for the 6765 E Cover 3 inch inlet 2 inch outlet S Cover 4 inlet 2.5 outlet SP Cover same as S Cover with anit-surge porting H Cover 4 inlet 3 outlet HP Cover same as H Cover with anit-surge porting
  8. Im sry but im having a very hard time believing that a off the shelf GT3076R makes anywhere near 700whp when they are rated 525 hp from Garrett This was made on a high lift cams, 2.0 ltr Evo 921 whp/ 641 TQ @ 48psi now AWD Motorsports GSR Evo Buschur 2.0L Motor Buschur Stage 3+ Head Custom Cams Buschur Coil on Plug Ignition Buschur Race FMIC Precision T3 6765mm Turbo AWD Motorsports FWD Facing Turbo Kit AWD SPec D2 Coilovers Driven Innovations Intake Manifold w/ 8 Injectors Shep Dogbox E-85 Fuel Haltech Ecu Tuning By Crispeed Built by: Anthony @ AWD only have a graph of a 885whp run but here is the video also and here it is at the track running 8.75 @ 162.8 mph with a T3 6765
  9. nice overlap doesnt seem to be much difference in spool there but think that the 6765 has a lot more left in it than the 4088R. The 6765 has been proven to make over 900whp and that was a T3
  10. havent seen any reliability issues with them. The old style Precision could take almost anything. And yeah that AWDMotorsports Evo RS made 783 awhp with a T3 6262 And the AWDMotorsports Evo GSR made 921 awph with a T3 6765 and went 8.75 @ 163mph A Supra made 1015 whp 754tq @ 32 psi on E85 with a T4 7675 , 1.10 a/r they maxed out the injectors and the turbo had easily more left in it So i would say they are best bang for buck power wise and spool wise, the Borg Warners when compared in the same power catagory seem to be abit lazier here is a small comparison from a 6265 @ 25 psi Vs. a GT4088 @ 25 psi 4000rpms: 6265@300 wheel torque/250whp - GT4088@300 wheel torque/240whp 4500rpms: 6265@550 wheel torque/500whp - GT4088@430 wheel torque/380whp 5000rpms: 6265@560 wheel torque/540whp - GT4088@530 wheel torque/500whp 5500rpms: 6265@580 wheel torque/600whp - GT4088@520 wheel torque/540whp 6000rpms: 6265@580 wheel torque/620whp - GT4088@500 wheel torque/570whp 6500rpms: 6265@580 wheel torque/640whp - GT 4088@490 wheel torque/590whp and a quote from one of the guys at Boost Logic "The 6265 spools MUCH faster than the GT4088R. The GT40 will spool later than a Billet 6765 DBB and make less power. The new PTE Billet Compressor wheel turbos are the way to go! "
  11. not yet in the new billet line i think, but i have to check. There are many Supras and Evos that run precision turbos. But the new billet line is pretty new. But all ive seen are great results with them. I can check for some dyno results on supraforums but that will ofcourse be on a 2JZ there is always the older style Precison non billet, Precision Turbo T67 Turbocharger Capable of 750HP but i think i would just go with the new since they are same price/or cheaper spool the same but make more power
  12. I recently bought a R32 GT-R (last summer) and was thinking about a Single turbo upgrade if not then probably going for Garrett GT2871R-10s when i upgrade. First im going to max out and see how fast i can run at the 1/4 mile with the stock turbos but i was wondering. Seems like not many in the Skyline world use Precision turbos at least not that ive seen I know that Precisions new Billet line is pretty new. I had the old style Precision billet in my Supra it was a 71mm turbo with a .81 A/r capable of 800+whp and it was i think about 1400 US Dollars back then. I dont understand why more people dont go for them since they often make more power and spool quicker then many other on the market, the price is good and they last. They are used a lot in the Supra world and Evo world. a Precision 6765 with a quick spool valve would be a killer setup on a powerfull street car. Here is an example, btw all the prices are in US dollars since this is taken from a US shop. Prices might be higher or lower somewhere else. regular housings available are .58, .68, .81, or .96 Precision 55mm Billet Turbo 5557 rated at 535hp........price $899.99 USD Precision 58mm Billet Turbo 5857 rated at 605hp........price $899.99 USD Precision 58mm Billet Turbo 5862 rated at 615hp........price $899.99 USD Precision 62mm Billet Turbo 6262 rated at 670hp........price $899.99 USD Precision 62mm Billet Turbo 6265 rated at 685hp........price $899.99 USD Precision 67mm Billet Turbo 6765 rated at 900hp........price $1,079.99 USD Precision 67mm Billet Turbo 6768 rated at 935hp........price $1,439.99 USD Precision 71mm Billet Turbo 7168 rated at 945hp........price $1,439.99 USD Precision 71mm Billet Turbo 7175 rated at 985hp........price $1,439.99 USD Precision 76mm Billet Turbo 7675 rated at 1200hp.......price $1,439.99 USD Edit forgot to add you can also get them with divided housings and these are the new WATERLESS DBB setups so no more coolant lines need to be tapped anymore to have Dual Ball Bearings. But prices might go up for these i think. -Precision Billet 6265 Journal Bearing (1.00 or 1.15 a/r housings) $999 -Precision Billet 6265 Dual Ball Bearing (1.00 or 1.15 a/r housings) $1499 -Precision Billet 6765 Journal Bearing (1.00 or 1.15 a/r housings) $1,199 -Precision Billet 6765 Dual Ball Bearing (1.00 or 1.15 a/r housings) $1,899
  13. forgot to add that the Supras in that list are all US Spec Supras which came with Steel internal Turbos from factory
  14. hehe That would be great. Would be nice to try and keep track of what everybody has run nice the more info the better so nobody has gone 10s it seems ?, i know that i will definitely not go 10s but aiming for 11s when the track opens here is an example of the list on Supraforums of what the Stock Twinturbo Supras have run. 18. hehe yeah that would be great I use the Audi S4 as a daily and the Skyline is in storage during the winter Thanks, yeah there are also a lot of people here into Formula offroad but i think you are talking about the modified 4x4´s that are used in snow, many on 44" tires or bigger VIDEO Formula Offroad in Iceland and here are some pics of some modified 4x4s used in snow
  19. mainly talking about unmodified with ceramic wheels, or maybe steel internals also thanks for the reply that is a pretty good time for only 240 rwkw so maybe high 10s is achievable with a 75 shot, that or bust lol btw video didnt work , something missing in the link http://www.razine.com/diversos/desca...3_valentin.mpg
  20. Also posted this on gtr.co.uk I was wondering if you guys know what is the quickest/fastest anybody has run using the stock twinturbos ? and maybe stock twinturbos + nitrous or is there a "sticky" list somewhere that i am missing showing top 10 1/4 mile times using stock twins ? i know the supra guys on supraforums have a list(sticky thread) and Evo guys over on evolutionm also do can you guys post what you have run with the stocktwinturbos and post your mods if this hasnt been posted before
  21. hehe well its good to have a awd car so you can use it all year around. I also had a Subaru wrx STi before i had the Supra. But i gotta say that the Supra was one of the more fun cars i had, that and the Skyline but ofcourse the Supra had 700+ whp yeah they salt the roads a lot in Reykjavik(capitol) I think its recovering slowly you should visit, always nice to check out the nightlife as well
