  1. Hello fellow Skyliners. I have followed predator's spacer template for R32s but had to make my own because i couldn't print for my life. Used 12mm MDF wood (his recommendation) and cut out + drilled the holes all to correct sizes and locations. Finally today I screwed everything on after all the hard work and tried putting the door skin on and it wouldn't go back on because the template was interfering with the door skin. I think there are 2 different types of R32 doors that require different templates. Here is predator's thread. Very nicely written. On post #12 raz0r$harP.UK had the same problem as well. Post #2 is a picture of the installed template. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...ics-t71256.html Here is a picture of my installed template, as you can see, the hole positions are already different. So anybody with the same door type or not have any suggestions on the template or installation? Worked hard on these templates for nothing
  2. I'm beginning to think that there are 2 types of 2 door R32 front speaker hole styles. The template and it's holes were nothing like mine (R32 GTS-T 1990). I created my own template and here is a pic for reference and comparison with predator's. Also I am pretty sure i have the same door style as raz0r$harP.UK as stated in post #12. I used 12mm MDF from Bunnings and the door trim will not go over it.
  3. Can we get the normal ECU reprogrammed to gain more power after exhaust or intake mod? Remap i think it's called. Or is that only possible with SAFC and Nistune?
  4. That's funny cause i've got that problem only when it's cold. So opposite yours.
  5. R32 GTRs from factory have the most understeer of any GTRs
  6. VERY nice build, however, 2 flaws: 1. Auto 2. Built for STREET RACING
  7. Can't we just sticky a deturboing thread?
  8. Woulda thought the autos would be more durable than manuals (reason why some top level Fords/Holdens have auto, because too much torque, so i'm told anyways) due to the torque being distributed better in auto boxes without the clutch and stick. Never heard of auto boxes breaking unless you were playing with the auto selector a lot.
  9. Also interested. Maybe R E Customs? I've seen a few racing Skylines in their carpark.
  10. I think something along the Best Motoring idea but Australian version would get a lot of viewers and therefore sponsors. Love that show Enter car --> win races --> get known --> sponsor
  11. Mateys, are you forgetting MR2s start at ~$6k and they're not bad (although they don't have power steering). My points are: a) RWD b) Mid engined c) Nimble d) Nothing you can't fix with some well thought out sussy upgrades e) Cheap for NA f) Relatively light (~1180kg tare) compared to many others These come out of factory with 130 flywheel kW. Few mods should make it more aggressive. I quote OP from first post: "I'm not really concerned with times, I just want to have some fun"
  12. Thinking of it, this would suck because you never really fully drain your fuel after every tank leaving ~5L. So essentially you have mixed a fraction of very old fuel to every new refill.
  13. I can't believe you guys! All these posts and not even one mention of the MR2??? SHAME! MR2 SW20!!! http://i469.photobucket.com/albums/rr58/de.../Roundabout.jpg
  14. But isn't fossil fuel supposed to be millions of years old?
  15. So then what about the Group A racing and Hillclimbs etc? Nobody even gets podium prizes? @TURISMO: How much did you pay to get in?
  16. I went down the path of dropping a R33 NA engine into mine. Only cause i am keeping the car. If you need any info or opinions just say so.
  17. OR you can just buy one of these http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/privat...8&silo=1011
  18. Spotted a silver RX-7 south east Melbourne in Keysborough near Parkmore just before (~6:50pm) doubt it's the same one but had black rims. Exhaust wasn't that loud, well at least not loud enough to hear over mine. Heading south towards Greens Rd or Dandenong Bypass.
  19. LOL alright thanks. Will try it out some Googling. Never even heard of Lawn, it's that far... Anymore suggestions?
  20. Saw black or gun metal grey R32 with number plate 'RB26T' south east in Keysborough. Looked mean.
  21. So you can get a DOSE of my MEDICINE! LOLOL ok lame...
  22. I calls it a R32 GTS25-TR because R32 GTS-T body, R33 GTS25 S2 engine, R32 GTR bodykit. Rest assured there are no GTR badges. LOL. Haven't changed anything on the exterior since i bought the car and don't plan to unless restoring.
  23. Hey guys, the lock on the passenger door of my R32 won't work properly. Is there a workshop or someone I can take it to preferably in south east Melbourne to get it fixed? I don't really mind if i have to travel if they do a good job. The door won't lock and I am scared for my Skyline Pulled the door trim off and I couldn't do anything about it. Help much appreciated. Thanks.
  24. OR...you can just spend $70 for slim plates.
  25. I'll keep an eye out since I undertake studies in Footscray.
