  1. Cool, but premium price How much did you get them for if you don't mind me asking?
  2. Hey guys, just wondering who has white faced clusters for their R32 and where you got them from. They look awesome and give the car a bit more of a modern look. Looking to buy some. There are 2 places it's available right now (apart form the original 320km/h $1000 Nismo ones): BM Gauges specializing in making dial faces: http://www.bmgauges.com.au/r32%20skyline.html (don't like the font, seems too futuristic) Cyberstork USA on EBay which seems to only sell gauge faces too but more customizable: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...RK%3AMEWAX%3AIT This is most likely the best candidate for now. Don't know if the LED cluster lights will shine through well though... Anyone know any other ways to get white faced clusters/dials? Or anyone have experience with the above products? Much appreciated, thanks.
  3. Alright, finally got one. Bought it off a forum member who lived 20 minutes away. $40 for AFM (pink label) and K&N pod, thought it was quite a bargain. Only downside was that it was a quite dirty so bought some CRC Mass Air Flow cleaner ($25 for 300g ouch!) from Autobarn and now looking pretty good. Currently in process of cleaning filter with K&N air filter recharger. So far so good. Thanks guys.
  4. Definately well said about done once done proper. Rent-A-Tint (franchise) in Dandenong would do it for $550 and because i'm getting tints there as well i could get it cheaper. If you want more details let me know, could probably try a group buy type thing there if you guys interested
  5. Sounds like a good project. How much weight are we talking about reducing in an R32?
  6. Thought that was for R34s? NEO technology was only introduced at 1998 onwards. Please correct me if i'm wrong someone.
  7. lol nahhh not for the non turbo RB anyways
  8. How are 2nd hand ones? Keep hearing people complain about screwed up AFMs cause of their dodgy fuel economy so was contemplating to buy a new one, but if 2nd hand ones work just as fine then that should save quite a lot.
  9. Hmmm how are you sure? I've seen some R33 engines where there was a stand just like the one on mine at the end of the coil packs cover but however it was 2 plugs joined together (the stand was to hold the joined plugs up) instead of 2 plugs on each side of the ignitor...
  10. Damn wrong forum for a Peugeot. Some wreckers let you browse around the back area of the building and pick parts. Try: Honda Spares (They stock more than just Hondas) 03 9798 4133 4 Bridge Rd, Keysborough 3173 Auto Salvage 9791 5500 85-87 Ordish Rd, Dandenong South 3175
  11. LOL Just let this guy do what he wants, sounds unique...and a bit too much money.
  12. My bad. Forgot to check the first number. Thought about it yesterday and was like 'what a douche' LOL. Smoking mashed tree branches or something.
  13. Hey guys i have an RB25DE laying around ready for installing on car but i can't seem to figure out which series it's from and it makes it very difficult to buy parts such as AFM and service parts etc. So if you guys can just have a quick look and drop a comment that would be nice Wrecker who i bought it off says it's series 1 (from my experience they're not very knowledgable), but from this forum i read that series 2 doesn't have the ignitor on the top of the engine as it is built into the ECU. Attatched is some pictures of my RB25DE and i have tried searching everywhere. Thanks.
  14. Guys where do you get new AFMs from? I've read around and it was around the $120 mark. Need one for the non turbo implanted R33 motor. Repco quoted ~$320 Autobarn didn't have Some parts shop in Dandenong quoted ~$600 LOL and get a load of this, Supercheap Auto quoted $850 (no offense to them but i laughed hard on the spot ) So if you can please recommend some places to buy them it would be great. (Turbo and non turbo uses same AFM) Thanks.
  15. Ahhh thanks guys, you're all the bomb. So where can i track down an R33 S2 AFM for a good price?
  16. LOL you may think it was a silly question but i thought maybe he remembered some 'special' quotes off the top of his head or something as they seem to know each other. I know it's just a fraction of the price of the car but not everyone is balling with money like you are
  17. At least someone understands lol. Got plans for this car that's why. Also if you get the R34 RB25DE engine (255Nm) it has 2 more Nm of torque than the R32 GTR shamefully according to www.motortraders.net (not that i got that engine, not worth it for just P plates).
  18. God dammit that sticker lol How the hell did you get it for $55 delivered from Nengun??? they sell it at $64 and charge roughly $20 for shipping... says black shift knobs are discontinued on the site, and on RHD Japand it says white shift knobs are discontinued...just my luck. Surely this resin type knob will shave off 100g of car weight if it doesn't do anythign else...
  19. So can high flow cats still permit flames (200 cel or 100 cel)? Or does it fully have to be no cat (too loud)? Does it work with non turbo engines? Technically it should because it is unburnt fuel and exhaust heat, unless the turbo contributes to a lot more heat...
  20. I am in the process of doing it, hope some of you don't mind if i PM you too. So far i can tell you: - Engine is direct swap (same mounts) - Wiring different, but theres a few wiring threads around if you're daring to do it yourself (i wasn't, so i PMed BH_SLO32) - AC same - PS same - Alternators same - Gearbox is same - Few hoses different EDIT: By the way i'm converting to RB25DE.
  21. lol confusing....apparently R32 and R33 series 1 is the same. So if R33s turbo and non turbo are the same too..... or are you referring to series 2 that are the same? ...or maybe all of them are the same (except R34)....
  22. Alright so Chris, what's the lowest price as a SAU member that i can get the alarm fitted and installed by Stylyn Auto? (They provide the M80 alarm too). Need this done in a weeks time, thanks.
