  3. Hrm I don't like the looks of the new GT-R OR the RX7 Car styling these days is just going too far outta hand, bring out more beasty looking cars.
  4. My friend's dad apparently owns the WRX, she was telling me today that at a car show recently, someone stole 2 of the 3 Jona Lomu subs. How on earth could anybody not have noticed?? Lol
  5. Well he could do that, but then again, he said he wants the light on when the door opens
  6. Hehe yeah I've seen those Defi gauges before, when I first saw them I thought they were gauges that could switch readings. It would be awesome if someone invented an LCD gauge system. Where you buy the controller thing, and then you buy gauge shaped LCD screens. The controller is connected to all the places your normal gauges would go, then a single gauge can be switched between different readings. I hope that makes sense
  7. Wow! Sounds like a pretty impressive setup! My friend's dad works for Fusion. When I have the cash I should be getting a full Fusion set up as well.
  8. I got my windows tinted at Tint-a-car for $200. Good service, the owner dropped me home (in his new BMW) and picked me up when the car was ready
  9. Wouldn't he have to hold it if he did that? On the Ford Laser we used to have, the beeping got really annoying, fixed by turning ignition to ON. There was a fuse for it, but it was connected to the interior light too.

  11. Sounds about right to me. A fuel filter can be bought for around $10, so the labour would be about $15 A bit of a ripoff I know, personally I would at least replace the oil, oil filter, fuel filter, sparkplugs and coolant myself. EDIT:: Lol I just reread the post. $45 to change the fuel filter??!! ...You're right
  12. Bumping this thread. Anybody got pics of their homemade set-ups yet? Does anybody know who sells those DIN pockets (to store things in) but with a flip up/down cover? Or just a plain DIN pocket/panel that clips in?
  13. Looks pretty nice, I personally don't like the front spoiler that much. But the rest looks awesome!
  14. Thats an awesome price! His price was already the cheapest online ($145) and now it's even cheaper again Kristian check your PM.
  15. Can you fit 4 people into any of those Porsches mentioned?
  16. Mate how much do you know about your first car experience when you havn't even got your first car yet? People don't scratch or hit their cars on purpose, it's part of the learning experience
  17. But that would be useless to most people without pics NS2500: We have excactly the same headunit in our car, I'm going to take half of it out again so I can spray paint the plastic surround black. The grey colour doesn't match with my dash.
  18. Yeah Japanese Import Parts has pretty good prices, I hope a mod will approve a group buy. I've been doing I bit of price comparing for a number of different parts and pretty much all of Japanese Import Parts prices are the cheapest I can find in Australia on the net. Keep it up Kristian
  19. I may also be interested in the Blitz FATT, however the DCII version. Let me know if you can get them. Cheers
  20. Um, www.japaneseimportparts.com are selling the A'PEXi Turbo Timer on special for $145 (Australian) Ask them if we can do a group buy
  21. Could someone please explain why it is so common for imported cars to have excessively worn (basically no leather left on them) steering wheels? Do Japanese drive with sandpaper gloves or something? Or is it from something else? Most cars you see here could have done over 200,000kms and the wheel isn't worn.
  22. I don't even live in WA, but it sound's like you guys have put a LOT of effort into your PAS display. I hope everything turns out awesome for ya's!
