  1. No stress Chris I didn't take it personal. As for the boot. It was like that when I got it. Did all gtr's have external locks? Or did some come with just a badge? Now u got me curious!

  6. stock v-spec springs sold and shocks gone with them. I found the specs on the apex springs. They're 6kg fronts and 6.5kg rears. If anyones interested in the apex & stock ones together I'll do them for $150.

Front & rear set of stock non-vspec: $100 Front & rear set of stock vspec: $100 Front & rear set of apexi - 1" drop: $100 I also have a set of front and rear vspec shocks that it'll throw in to the first interested spring buyer for free.   10. They're were on the car when I bought it but based on condition and previous owners reports they're less than 2 years old and seen less than 2000kms. Your welcome to inspect yourself or happy to arrange a professional inspection.

  14. No longer need the following: 1) R32 gtst ohlins variable rate springs. Front and rears. Gives about 30-40mm drop. Awesome springs for road or track. Almost brand new, only did about 500kms on them before I got my coil overs. Currently fitted to stock struts $200 2) R32 gtst rb20det blitz vent to atmosphere bov plus steel intake pipe with flange. Perfect condition. $50 3) R32 gtst rb20det coil packs. Full set. No cracks. All working perfect. $100 4) R33 GTR rb26dett coil packs. Full set. No cracks. All working perfect. $100 5) R33 GTR rb26dett tomei pon cams type B. have done less than 5,000kms. Perfect condition. $200 6) R33 GTR apexi springs. Fron abd rear set - no struts. Approximately 20-30mm drop. Very stiff springs, car corners like its on rails with these. Have done approximately 7,000kms, excellent condition. $200 - will consider swaps for stock non vspec springs plus $100 my way. All items located in bayswater north, Vic.   15. Hey guys, picked up a car with these rims. It has 18x10 on all concerns and tram tracks so much it's killing me. So I need someone to capitalise on my misfortune, I'd like to swap a pair of these rims with someone who has the exact same rims but in 18x8. I know someone out there has a set of 18x8 on their car and wishes their rears were 18x10's! Rims have a set of Bridgestone RE050 tyres in 255/35/18, tyres have +80% tread and no taper wear. Not sure the offset but will pull them off and measure if needed. They're currently on a R33 GTR, same offset front and rear. You can pick any 2 you like. They're all perfect condition with no gutter rash or marks of any kind. Not interested in selling them, only swaps. I need the 18x8s to have decent tyres, not much to ask given the great deal someone is getting here. I'm located in Bayswater North Victoria. Send me a PM and we can sort out a time. Cheers!
  16. update: ratiator fitted. Looking to install the extractors next weekend. If car is not sold/swapped by the end of March it will be going back into storage for winter. New pics:
  17. Update: New stainless steel flex fan and chrome rocker covers fitted (kept the original fan & rocker covers). New aluminum radiator about to be fitted. Also have a brand new set of stainless steel extractors and gaskets that I may fit before the end of the month.

  20. OK guys I know this is an odd one but figured it was worth a shot. I've got me Vette up for sale (also listed on carsales), and I've been searching for a nice R32 gts-t as a daily driver so figured why not post something here. Car is currently on carsales for $24,000 but I'm negotatble especially for SAU members. Car is located in Bayswater VIC. Details: 1975 L82 Corvette Stingray. 350 v8, 4 speed manual. Car was in storage for winter and only brought out in november to get club registered for summer. A lot of work has been done to make this car drive better than new. All suspension bushes, bearings & joints replaced with new urethane ones and full suspension rebuilt and alignment. All brakes rebuilt with new Al ORing style pistons and new seals. New pads & rotors have been machined. New stainless steel park brake mechanism & shoes New wiper & washer motors New targa & window seals. New ADR compliant seat belts New RH Dip Head lights All fluids, filters & plugs recently changed. Car is very original and a stock L82 car. Its not numbers matching, engine was replaced in the US in 2009 with a GM create motor but the motor is a genuine L82 engine. So heads, manifolds, carbi and cam are correct. Motor is very fresh, responds well and starts first time every time. Exhaust is standard 2-1-2 system. It has correct induction hood and corresponding air cleaner setup. The 4 speed manual makes the car much nicer than an auto to drive and gives the true sports car experience. Gear box feels great, synchros are all strong and the clutch was replaced with the new engine. Car features adjustable tilt & length steering column, air conditioning and power steering. Interior is in fantastic condition with new carpet and seats fitted in the US. Body is brilliant, as expected for fibre glass, with only some very minor chips and scratches. Original Rally Wheels are in mint condition and are fitted with near new tyres. Import approval documents provided and a RWC can be arrange as part of sale if required (passed one in November for the club registration). Air conditioning needs re-gassing. Drives like a dream and is certainly a head turner. Its no 300kw skyline but it sure does cruise well! Pictures: I'd be interested in swaps for a R32 GTS-t with some cash my way. Could be convinced to do the same for the right R33 GTS-t or R34 GT-t. Not sure if I want a GTR but let me know what you got and if your keen. If I don't get any interest by end of March when the good weather ends she'll be going back into storage for winter again. Cheers!
  21. Highly recommend the a1rm material from qfm. I'm running stock gts-t brakes with some front ducting and while it doesnt have the balls I want it does ok and handles the heat fine. When u say gtr brakes is that 32 or 33/34? Cause the 33/34 are the bigger. That's what I'm changing too.
