Yeah that's my plan. Make up some adapters to use my calipers with gtr rotors and chuck the a1rm back in. I got no interior anymore so I'm down to 1300kg with full fuel & driver so should do the trick.
-
Hahaha I tried the comp 9/2 pads this time. Heaps better braking and used less pad but also chewed 1.5mm off my rotors!!! Gonna look at a bigger disc and go back to a1rm. Will be cheaper in the long run!
-
Weather front is coming in faster than originally forecast. And I'd expect that trend to continue. So think storm will pass on Friday and we should be pretty clear for Saturday. Gonna be an awesome one with only a small group.
-
Yep plenty of track time at this one! So that's another set of tyres and about 80litres of fuel gone!!!
-
Hahaha! Second the overheating everything motion! Though the 20minute sessions allow you to do a couple of warm up laps, then a few flyers, then a cool down lap or two and follow it with a few more flyers. Switched to rt615's for winton last year and they handled the heat a lot better.
-
Standard r32 points are fine. That's all I have. But you will need a blue battery triangle. Though that being said they keep changing the regs and I think if your battery is in the factory location you might get away without one. But I'd knock one up out of book contact or blue tape just to be safe!
-
Normally 10min sessions. Doubt very much that it will fill. My guess is about 50-60 entrants at best.
-
Not that I want the wrx club to loose money but another quiet event would be sweet! Especially if they open the sessions up to 15-20minutes like winton last year! I'm entered!

Very shorty I'm going to remove the air con system from my skyline (car is mainly a track car now so no need for it). Still working perfectly though has never been regased in the 3 years I've had it and isn't as super cold as it used to be. Will obviously need regasing when reinstalled which fixes this problem. I will be removing the condensor, tx valve, canister, pump and all lines. If someone wants this I will wait till just before they want to pick it up so no internal seals degrade or lines corrode. I can't guarantee the o rings will survive but will try my best. Happy for anyone to come check it all out before I remove. Items is for pick up only from bayswater Victoria. $100.00 Call me for any questions 0404877067

R32 Gts-T Parts Clear Out

Sorry, I have just checked for someone and the oil cooler kit is missing the 2 threaded tubes to mount the adaptor block to the engine & your filter to the remote mount. Don't remember them ever being in the kit when I purchased it. I'm sure you could get or make these, but will drop the kit to $80 given the additional hassle. I would also recommend new O-rings as the kit has been sitting for some months (these are $0.10 items from your local auto store). Sorry for any hassle. -
OK time to clear out my garage. 1. Endless Zeal Function X Coilovers for R32 GTS-t. Details from Endless USA site: http://www.endlessus...-kit/function-x These are a track/street setup. They're reasonably hard sprung for the street but still drivable and perfrom great on the track. 15 damper setting, base height adjustable. Can get stock ride height or completely slammed. In great condition, no leaks. I have returned my car to stock so no need for these anymore. Were great fun and made the cars handling brilliant! $600 2. R32 GTS-t RB20DET Factory ECU. Perfect condition, I have left the chipped one in my car so no need for this one any more. $50 3. R32 GTS-t Factory Fog Lights. Perfect condition. Removed these to fit my front mount and are no longer needed. $50 4. Blitz BOV (don't know what model). Comes with replacement steel intake pipe. Fits RB20DET and pretty sure it will also fit RB25DET. Not super loud but is noticeable, and a much faster action than the factory unit. Have reinstalled my factory setup so can say goodbye to this one. $50 5. 9 Row Oil Cooler Kit with remote filter mount. Should suit any RB engine (and possibly some others). I got as far as mounting the cooler and routing the pipes on this setup and never finished the install so this kit is brand new apart from some road grime. Hose length and fittings and perfect for installation on the RH front corner. Remote filter kit means no more slicing your arm to pieces or covering yourself in oil every filter change. 9 Row size is perfect for just about all RB applications, anything bigger and you will over-cool the oil and have more problems than if it was to get too hot. $100 All parts are available for pick up from Bayswater, Victoria, 3153. I am happy to arrange postage for any of these but it will be at the buyers cost (will confirm shipping cost upon request prior to sale). Any questions PM me or call me on 0404877067 Cheers Chris

got a 33 gtst that Ill be preparing over christmas. Nothing to special just yet but will work out a lot more coat effective than modifying the 32!
-
I see you didn't want to risk missing out on this event Russ and got in early! I've just registered! Yeah I'd be up for going up friday night! This will be the last event for the R32, new car for next year!
-
Yeah it's not too bad Russ. Ran 2 more sessions after the hit and got my fastest time too. No mechanical or alignment damage. Have nearly got it back straight. Will file finish it this weekend and prime it. Not sure about final coat as I was thinking of respraying her anyway over Christmas. I liked the standard track and would have preferred more time to get that right than swapping to the figure 8. That said the figure 8 had it's god points. Though it would be so much better if the linking track had ripple strips to identify the corner better!
-
Still keen. But given the "fun day" comments thrown around, I'm assuming this will be an untimed event? Are you also thinking of doing the "fun day" far too many cars on the track at once thing??? So much better when cars are grouped by lap time and limited to 15 on the track at once!
-
I like the idea! I'd be in!
-
Sorry not all casualties were WRX! 1x EVO 10 LH Front into wall at turn 3. 1x WRX mega smash of LH Front & LH front door at "Oh Sh*t" 1x R32 GTSt LH rear at turn 3 - see below!!!!!! Here you can see the evidence of the trouble a few of us had at corner 3!
-
Yeah but you don't want to try and give it as much as I did through corner 3! Managed a 67.5 which I'm happy with given never been there before and the issues I'm having with my diff! Fun track but deadly if your not spot on the whole way around!
-
Entries have closed people! 65 entrants! Whethers looks to be ok. Should b a fun day! Russ did you enter?
-
I'm entered. The sup regs says cars will be released onto the track in intervals of no less than 30seconds. Which basically means no they'll only allow the next car to start when the previous car has just about finished. So guessing maybe 5 to 6 runs at best depending on how many bail after lunch
-
I'm there for sure! This track look awesome soooo looking forward to it. Will have the new suspension in this weekend and hoping to have a new diff in before this. Should be a whole new car
