  1. The 33 had stock rods/pistons with 25 head. And had acl race bearings and arp head studs with a metal head gasket. Bolt ons was 6 boost 44 mm turbo smart gate with a t04z unsure of rear housing. has billet oil gear, Also had injector dynamic 1000cc injectors. And hks twin plate. 440 hp on safe tune

thats what i can tell u mate

  2. Um....you have no loom in the R33. The only sensible option is to use the R34 loom. With the engine out you can make the various changes more easily. You might want to buy an R33 loom to be able to obtain some of the plugs.

i got no problem buying another loom im just curious to which is the easiest way as a few guys have different opinions i just wanna know whats involved for both

  3. Have a look at my thread, mine is running but with all S2 R33 wiring. There's a bit of work needed to splice the 34 engine loom into the 33 body loom. 33 wiring was the easiest option.

Yeah, can run aftermarket inlet manifold for non-Neo RB25's on the Neo.

    cheers for the reply

i was keen on using the 34 loom but yeh i think will be harder, gotta link for that thread? couldnt find it

  4. Hi everyone

i have a r33 rolling shell missing engine, gearbox and harness. I have just purchased a r34 crashed with the neo mtor. Now i have been doing research but i am wanting to use the R34 harness in the 33. Can someone please give me some guidance as alot of the threads are bit all over the place.

also can and aftermarket plenum from the older 25 go onto a neo head, they have the same intake manifold gasket, any help in regarding this conversion will be greatly appreciated.

  5. I tell people not to listen to the tools who tell them its ok to do it on their cars which cost them xx thousand. But what do I know? I happen to get my information from people who rebuild turbo's for livings and not off google.

So what if it didnt happen on your car, it may happen on his. And if you want to be the idiot who told him it was ok, thats on you.

good to know u get your info from people in the loop but gathering information and having it on your car is a different story, like i said, personal preference, your car do what you want!!!!!

his is stock, my set up was aftermarket and yes im the idiot who blocked my bov, BOO FU**ING WHO

  6. I had a few skylines one with a 35r forged engine etc and blocked off bov because the sound annoyed me had no dramas!

Also stock 25 with a 3076, blocked and that's still going with no dramas! Personal preference but on stock turbo set ups not worth it!

  7. I agree with what u have said but my safe tune is 18psi for a turbo that should be running 20 to 26 psi. I chose a .63 as I been in .82 and was a touch laggy for my liking. In future I will change to a .82 with more boost and aim for big hp.
