  1. I have a 94 BNR32 with the pull type clutch. Picked up an exedy twin a couple years ago used because it was a steal. I installed -5s, haltech, tomei manifolds dumps and such this year and am putting in the transmission finally. It seems the pressure plate is hitting the pivot arm. Is it possible I have a BNR34 clutch? Thanks!
  2. You are correct was just logging on to say it is my fuel pump completely died on me yesterday. Thanks for the help
  3. Fuel ratios are good it ran over 3000kms perfectly on this tune I don't think that's the problem. My car is stock except intake exhaust and the injectors so a "stock tune" should run my car no problems.
  4. Okay so i wrote down what my car was doing as I took it for a drive. Only seems to have problems under full throttle in first gear @ 4500-5000RPM second @ 5500-6000RPM and doesn't seem to have problems in third. So I think it only has problems depending on the load? The EGT (cat sensor or whatever) light did come on when I was having running problems my air fuel ratios are good aswell. Maybe my ecu is retarding the timing?
  5. I have an 94 GTR I am having hesitation and loss of power with under throttle. Driving on the highway it would lose all power and slow down then all the sudden have power again. It will also not rev over 4500 RPM without jerking and RPM jumping around a lot. I have replaced: Injectors (have 3000kms on them since replaced) Spark plugs one MAFS (was getting a mafs error and replaced one then it cleared) checked coils all were at 1.2 ohms (was a crappy multimeter the probes had about a .4-.5 resistance) I am stumped as to what it could be I am running a stock tune with nistune just set for larger injectors. I am going to look into getting an igniter pack wondering if anyone else had any ideas.
  6. Awesome thanks I'll give that a try just didn't want to start forcing things apart.
  7. I am in the middle of replaceing my cv boot and i cannot get the joint off the spindle. In the service manual it just says "slide joint assembly and dissassembly" not sure what this means anyone have any tips on how to get it off? Also i did catch the boot failure very early so i know the joint is still good. It is a R32 GTR. Thanks in advance Nathyne
  8. Hi, i can't figure out the best spot for my wideband o2 sensor on my downpipe and was wondering how much space i would need for it. I am getting a Bosch O2 sensor with a AEM uego kit but wan't to weld a bung on before i get the sensor so all i need to do is hook it up. Here are some pictures of where i need it this is going on a topspeed downpipe and seems the transmission corssmember is in the way according to this diagram http://www.bosch.com.au/content/language1/...s/Section_D.pdf the o2 sensor is 66 something long? lol i assume mms a unit of measurement would have been nice. If anyone has a picture of their o2 sensor or a picture of a downpipe with a bung on it that would be great. Here is the picture of where i need to mount it. Here is a picture of the downpipe. Thanks Nathyne
  9. Ohh yes also forgot to say i changed from a push clutch to a pull (replaced the bad transmission with one a bit older) so maybe changing to a different kind of clutch slave has something to do with it? sorry couldn't find the edit button must be blind lol
  10. Hi i just replaced the clutch, pressure plate, transmission, flywheel and slave cylinder in my r32 GTR. Now i believe i bled my clutch properly (splitter then slave) no more air is coming out but my pedal seems to be very easy to push for the first couple inches and has a very slight hesatation coming back up. It is also easier to push than before i was wondering if my pedal may not be adjusted right for the new pressure plate? only the last couple inches do you really notice any noticable resistance to pushing the clutch in. Thanks Nathyne
  11. thanks i ended up draining it and flushing it with the proper fluid then filling it again. sucks to pour 50-60$ of oil onto the ground... ohh well
  12. Hi i seem to have made a mistake here I just finished draining my fluids out of my transmission and transfer case. I put the plugs back in (left the rear top one open thought this was for the transfer case to fill). Then i started pouring in my oil through the shifter hole once i hit the 4.1L i noticed that lots of oil seems to have gone out the top rear fill hole and onto the floor. What could i have done wrong here? Any dummy tips for filling transfer case and transmission? Thanks Nathyne
