oh yeah, might be worth a mention, drive safe and slow out there guys! Was coming home from work and lost it on a roundabout, mounted the gutter pretty bad and ended up flicked around facing oncoming traffic. Was only doing no more than 40km/h which is the scary part. So yeah, take it easy.

Spotted race_snooze i think, turning into that car park near discount tyres or whatever it is in Tuggers last night. I was right behind you, don't think you noticed though. Nice looking car!

If you're after tyres then consider Tyre Power in Tuggeranong. The owners a nice bloke and has looked at my car on a few occassions. I'm planning to purchase a full set of tyres off them in the next coming months. No complaints. And the guys treat the car with respect when they take it for a drive.

spotted a nast accident in Tuggers just on the corner near Tyre Power. From what i could see, 300ZX rear ended by an ugly Buttercup coloured Falcon with chrome hubcaps and smashed into a pole. Not a pretty sight. Didn't look like anyone was hurt, but the funny thing is it took the cops over 20 minutes to get there and they are like 2 minutes up the road.

Hate the interior of the Supra, i'd find it hard to live with everyday. But looks hot outside. Supra engine is a bit better in my opnion, but the 34 is hard to go past. Win/Win.

just out of curiosity, have the side mirrors been replaced at some stage? in some pics they're grey and in others the same colour as the paint.

I didn't notice any difference. It used to make the exhaust smell but it doesn't anymore. I've heard people say that BP Ultimate and Optimax often comes from the same refinery and they just put in different additives. Either way, i'm not having any problems with it

I found Shell Optimax gives better economy then BP Ultimate does. I'm happily using that now, it's right next to where i work so it's convenient too.

I hope you're not intending to use that at the traffic lights...

Isn't the tank 60L? i got no idea what i get, but i fill up at 1/4 of a tank and put in about $35-40 worth. Gets me just under full.

Mate, no offence here, but turbo Skyline + P Plates + Young Driver... you're easy pickings for the cops. They assume because you're young and driving a mildly powerful car that you're bound to be doing something wrong and that you won't have much clue as to the law. You think they'll go after a 50 year old as harshly as they'll go after you? Prob not. I'm in the same boat, been driving mine since i was 17 too. Never had any trouble with the police, never been pulled over. A similar thing happened to my mate. He was leaving one of our friends places and a cop runs out of his house (he was off duty) and accuses him of doing an 18 metre burnout. My mates car is an old Pulsar front wheel drive, and my mate was doing NOTHING wrong. His car was impounded and he has to appear in court. His dad has taken photos of the scene (no tyre marks) taken witness statements from people in the street and gone to where the cop says he observed my friend doing it. Thing is you can't see the road from his house :S Will be interesting to see what happens, i bet my mate will get busted for it and he did nothing wrong.

There was an article in an old HPi a while back comparing a mildly modified R34 GTR to a similarly powered HSV GTS. They said the GTS had trouble putting the power to the ground, but all up it was pretty even. It's a good read if you can find it, has a gold S15 on the cover.

Anyways, i watched the follow up report, did anyone notice them mention Project Gotham on Xbox as having the rockies as a playable track? It was shown for like, 20 seconds. Check out the owners manual, i was curious about it so i flicked through that. From what i understood from the cartoons, it's for those occassions when your car breaks down on a railroad and you need to signal the train to stop. Or you could get off your ass and push the car.
