One of my mates is trying to get a 300ZX complied but has been told that unless it's 15 years old, the car will have to be re-imported or destroyed. I don't know the complexities of it, but he needs to know the month and year the car was made. Since it hasn't passed compliance there is no plate on it. Is there a way to tell the build date? I've heard of people using the Nissan FAST software, would it be possible to find the build date using this software? If so, PLEASE PM ME and i will give you the details needed. Otherwise, any other help would be GREATLY appreciated! Cheers guys, hope someone can help out.

But how can you judge it? If the wheels don't lose traction how can they say that it was excessive?

One of my mates got booked for 'excessive acceleration' from a set of traffic lights. This is another area of the laws i find a bit of a grey spot, as he did not spin his wheels or anything. So what is excessive acceleration if they can book you even if your wheels don't spin? This was in a HSV clubsport by the way (his dad's car)

Spotted the other day in my street, a Maroon Series I Skyline with mismatching panels being followed by that really low orange Toyota Hilux (Low Intentions Club) that was at the Tsunami Cruise. Directly behind them was a police motorbike. Hope they hadn't done anything wrong cause it looked like he was trying to catch up to them.

Looking to buy part of the door trim on the drivers side of an R33, as highlighted in this picture Must be in good condition with no cracks. just need the top plastic part and not all the buttons or anything. Cheers

Was it black by any chance? Had a dickhead in a black SS ute scream up next to me (i was in the left hand lane) and overtake me just to get to a left hand turn in front of me. Not only did he not indicate at all but he also managed to almost clip the side of my car. i was doing the speed limit as well. :S

Oh yeah, i'm pretty keen on the new XR6 Turbo's too, good to see an Aussie built turbo performance car. Wonder what the turbo hating bogans have to say to that one.
